meditatinghamster This! I fished out my MP2 DVD's from the loft at the weekend, really wish this would come out for GOG. Sadly I've lost my MP1 dvd so will just have to wait and hope. WNever played the third but would grab all three if they came out on GOG
ApertureScienceLabRat While community patches do already exist, the first Max Payne is in desperate need of a professional restoration. An improved DirectX renderer like what Resident Evil got would be nice, as would making it so the entire game doesn't freeze ominously when quicksaving.
Aztec_Mike2187 For the love of god, put this series on GOG Galaxy! I despise having to pirate the game, dealing with exe files that don't work, and the Rockstar Games/Social Club launcher.

A lot of games will never be published in the gog store it is a fact! For different reasons many games will never be published in the gog store - fuck_DRM policy (or at least gog trying to pretend DRM-free), absurd terms of cooperation that gog is pushing, support policy that is completely frustrating and disappointing, and of course non-professional personnel.

I love all Max Payne games, especially 2 and 3, and I would love to not have to use Rockstar Social Club to play Max Payne 3.

ThatRadioGeek Unfortunately the IP is owned by Rockstar and they're pretty insistant on their own crappy launcher (they didn't learn the lesson from Bethesda) so I doubt this is going to happen.
Mad Payne is on Steam at least but not optimized well

Max Payne 3 is tied to the Rockstar Social Club Account and launcher (which is stupid and sucks, but it exists like it or not). No way Rockstar ever releases it without that, simply not going to happen.
ChopinAndGogFan I would really love to have 3 on gog, because the DRM on Steam is absolute garbage! I have to sign in everytime I play the goddamn game

Treehugger @FlamingFireWire Agreed. Classic examples of "Good Old Games" would be GTA 1 & 2.
I've just installed Max payne 1 to replay it. It's still a nice game, considering how old it is. It'd be an insta-buy for lots of people here, IMO

FlamingFirewire Max Payne works great out of the box with a couple tweaks, and would be really easy to remaster... I hope we could see Rockstar care enough to give some of their old game catalogue some DRM-free love.

K_Saunders Would be nice if Rockstar could work with GOG to get MP 1 and 2 on the platform.
Max Payne 1 does have some issues that need to be amended with fan patches. it is a hybrid DX7 and DX 8.1 game. The game has audio issues as well as some other minor bugs.
Max Payne 2 is a little better as it uses DX9. Less issues and works better out of the box.
Crazy_McGee My computer just wasn't poweful enough to run the first two titles back in the day. I'd love to take a crack at them!

Would love to see the Max Payne games on GOG. Throw in a port of the GBA game while you're at it too.
Aghapanther bought this game on CD years ago and can no longer play on Windows 10 due to Redundant DRM so a GOG version without it would be wonderful to play again.
1,2! 3 uses the pesky RGL, so i doubt they will ever want to port that here, hell, not even the classic GTAs are here, the ones from the 90's
I doubt 3 will happen because of the Social Club, but I'd love 1 and 2 on GOG.

No real loss with MP3, but MP1 and MP2 really should be added, the DVD/CD for Max Payne 1 now can't be installed anymore on modern system because of some strange error.

easterkeke Zero chance of MP3 with Rockstar being very proactive about pushing Social Club, but 1 & 2 have a fair shot.
