Add the ability to link 2 GOG accounts/libraries ("Family Sharing")

Many online companies have implemented "family sharing" options (Microsoft, Amazon, Apple, etc.) that allow a limited number of people to share content. It would be great to see this functionality available on GOG.


Over the years, my husband has purchased a number of games for me via his account and I have done the same for him, so the contents of our individual libraries don't represent the games that each of us play offline or will potentially be playing through the GOG Galaxy client (which doesn't currently acknowledge ownership of games purchased via another GOG account).

I'd like "family sharing" feature in GOG, because while i can legally (according to GOG FAQ) download offline installer and install game on wife's computer, i'd like to do it with GOG Galaxy. I like autoupdating via GOG Galaxy. I also most of the time like achievements :)

Yes! This feature is driving me to buy on Steam. I agree with Paddy, DRM free means I could just do it... but that is against the spirit of DMR free. I want to do what's right, and a Family feature would be awesome!

I need Family Sharing, this is the feature that has me buying my games on steam! I wanted to buy a few games on GOG with recent sales but ended up not b/c this feature is missing.

Surprised by how few votes/comments this idea has gotten. Would love to be able to share my library with my family. I know being DRM-free means I can just install the game for them on their system, but that doesn't feel quite right. A proper avenue through which we could share libraries with others would be much better!
