Continue to add more 'good *old* games'. in progress
Hey GOG! You're perfect, but to make things even more perfect, you need to add more Castlevania games. Three games are not enough, given the vast expansion of this franchise. Konami, I want all the Castlevanias here, now!!!
yeahhh lets get some sierra games in here
I agree. Despite several new exceptions (thank you for Stalker 2 !), some good old games are still not here and wanted by the community (i'm very interested in buying the fmv game X-Files : The Game).
Keep it up. I love the work you do to. So many of these experiences I treasure would be lost without you.
Puzzle Quest challenge of the warlords :)
i absolutely want more old games here, but what i also wnat is them being fixed up for modern hardware, to be able to run them windowed mode in a decent resolution. I though this is what GOG was supposed to be, instead i still have to go and search online for obscure solutions just to play may old favorites in a decent state. Take Prince Of Persia WW for example, to this day it has no wide screen support, or Syberia, it doesnt even start unless you change your base desktop resolution to 1920*1080.
I want more care put into the old game releases.
I totally agree. I am also worried by the way GOG seems to be focussed on modern rereleases of old games. As much as I appreciate updates, I want access to old games more or less as they were. Not with a bunch of flashy but ultimately unnecessary graphical updates put in to justify releasing a 20 year old game at modern prices.
It does not help either that there are dopes constantly spamming the community wishlist with games that came out in the last 5 years and which will never make it on here due to their online only features and or owners which have no interest in GOG.
+1
Don't be Steam, if we wanted Steam we would go to Steam.
I came to GOG because of Diablo 1 and WarCraft 1, which can't be found on Steam or even Blizzard.
Old school games made compatible with today's computers is a rich niche waiting to be mined. Don't miss the opportunity by competing with something already existing.
What about card games like Yu-Gi-Oh Joey the Passion and the whole collection? Damn what I would give to play those again.
I used to come to the Gog website constantly to see what classic games were added. Now, I come maybe once a month. I was overjoyed when I first found Gog now it's no different than Steam. To succeed you need to stand out from the crowd, not tow the line.
What iamdaman13 said ... it is sooooo impossible to search only old games on GOG. It is the reason why i am not visiting GOG anymore. There is simply just too much of new garbage that is piling on great history and heritage of old games.
Please give us the option to filter classic games when browsing. I miss the days when GoG stood for “Good Old Games”, but it seems they’re doing the same thing MTV did.
Age of Empire
I'd really like to see Ascendancy, awesome game I really enjoyed. Especially the sound track, an early Masters of Orion 2.
Please continue adding old games!!
Please add Heretic and Hexen :)
please bring riddick dark athena, manhunt 2 & driver san fransisco to gog :)
Exactly! Every now and then I come to GOG to see if there have been some new old games from my childhood released (90s and early 2000s era), but they are releasing only new games almost all the time - you can get that everywhere. I think they should really reconsider what does GOG stand for. Concentrate on getting the sales rights for old games. I know you can do it! Again, WE DON'T WANT NEW GAMES
Yes, please. Continue to bring in old DOS games.
Almost forgot to add:
like many gamers already mentioned: the new games are all over the internet to be bought, it's the old games we need most since many aren't here yet.
yup, i agree with that, tons of old games are still out there
and they would be better of here on GOG
fixed to play on new OS ( escpecially since we now only have one windows left ; Windows 10.
Yes! We need more old games.
Needs more old games. There are so many great old titles that just never seem to be here, year after year. That's what GOG is supposed to be about and because of the lack of, I am forced to track down the original media, which is often aging and expensive to get shipped.
And I agree with the guy below. The 1st three Monkey Island games need the original data files and same for Grim Fandango (ResidualVM) and Escape From Monkey Island.
I'd like to add an Amen - and while we're at it - please make all the files available. Recent DOS game releases using ScummVM are missing files (so I've had to dig up my older download versions of the game when it was still DOSBOX). Please do not take the choice out of our hands whether we want to use ScummVM or DOSBOX (some of us have old systems we want to/can play natively) - have a wishlist for that over here: www.gog.com/wishlist/site/for_dos_games_if_theyre_scumvm_also_include_original_files
I whole heartedly support this wish. I want to see Battle for Middle Earth + Expansions, Red Alert, Black & White series, Command & Conquer Generals: Zero Hour, and more. I love the slant for older games, please continue and bring some of these to modern systems!
Yeah. This is supposed to be about old games. I don't care about Cyberpuenk2077, or the torrent of questionable indie games showing up. I can get those anywhere.
Still waiting for Silent Hunter 1, Road Rash, Need For Speed, Command and Conquer, Streets of Sim City, Rogue Spear, Raven Shield, Storybook Weaver, Toy Story 2, the Janes series, GTA 3, VC and SA, Midtown Madness 1 and 2, Bully, the Novalogic flight "sims", Traitors Gate, Combat Flight Simulator 1 and 2, Microsoft Train Simulator and the Sonalyst games, Dangerous Waters and Sub Command.
Do those and you will have my attention and money.

I can't wait for Red Alert 2 to be on GOG.
I chose GOG over steam not only because of their no drm policy, but also because of the fact that here i have discovered classics that i though were gone forever, although i expected to see more classical games available here.I hope that the wishes that i have voted on become true.
Quoting Jotaro Kujo:
"YES! YES! YES! YES! YES!"
I second that request 100%! As it stands now, I'm pretty close to having bought ALL old games (mid-80s to mid-/late-90s) that are of interest to me, which mainly leaves oldschool styled indy-games in my personal wishlist. On the other hand, I voted for a whole load of classic games on the community wishlist. So I do hope GOG will add many more classics in the future. I understand that tracking down current owners and licensing the games is sometimes a huge undertaking or completely prevented by ip licensing issues, but I do sincerely hope that at least some of my wishes will come true in the forseeable future. Thank you GOG-Team!

We just got MissionForce CyberStorm. Remember that while GOG will keep releasing classics, they dropped "Good Old Games" meaning in 2012 and (I believe) are trying to compete more with Steam (sans DRM of course).
Harmonica is absolutely right. And think about the new games being released and the possibility of them becoming a free game on the Epic Store or being included in Game Pass Ultimate.
Epic doesn´t even have their old games in their own Online Store- it´s crazy and that´s what you guys concentrate on and when you also focus on getting more and more old games compatible with for example Windows 10 than that´s more of a thing that separates you more positively from your competitors!
Indie Games are flooding, where are the good old games now.
I was recently browsing through the games-wishlist, and i was almost shocked to see how many gems from the DOS-era are still waiting for their re-discovery (voted for "The Horde" today). I can understand that tracking down right owners, negotiating deals, putting together bonus materials, and providing patches to ensure functionality on modern machines is very demanding in manpower, while there's not assured pays-off in sales. However, i don't believe it's wasted time for the staff: GOG is a brand which stands for "Good Old Games", and for a brand to maintain its value, it's important to stay aware of its roots so it doesn't lose it's identity. The GOG-team has come a long way, and has done an awesome job; but they have to be careful not to turn into Steam-clone, with the absence of DRM being the only distinction.
Still many awesome old games which are still missing on GOG: Drakan: Order of the Flame, Oni, Max Payne, Kiss Psycho Circus, Virtua Tennis, Heavy Metal F.A.K.K. 2, Time Warriors, Diablo 2, ...
Feels like the "old game" rollouts have slowed tremendously.
I also +1 getting the classic GTA 1 & 2 (and all others honestly).
I've switched to GOG from steam almostly completely because of no DRM. I only buy games on steam that I can't get on GOG now, and when I'm not financially limited I plan to repurchase my library here. Downloading my games to a backup drive has never felt so good and freeing. I really OWN my games. :)
Indeed, classic games made available and compatible for modern PC:s as well as remakes of classic games are the main reason I'm here. Though I have to underline that I like fact that they are open to Indie game developers as well. While many Indie games have quality issues, there are some gems as well and good ideas can often beat big budgets...
I am here for the classic games!
Give me Sims1 Complete, GTA1 and GTA2, Hellfire, Diablo2, StarCraft1, WarCraft1 and WarCraft2 and finally Jurassic Park Trespasser and i will immediately give you my money!
I just noticed that it's not even possible to filter games by year of release!
That's crap, we don't need another Steam.
this is really sad. GoG is not good old games anymore. I still like gog and I respect them because they respect us as customers. I only buy games from here if they are digital.....BUT
The reason I found gog and I liked it more than any other platform are the really really really old games. Games from 1980-2005. The numbers are a little random but you get the idea.
GoG.. please be GoG again
It's very hard to bring some of the most highly-desired games on the wishlist because of all the legal troubles involved. Look at NOLF.
Would Internet Archive's playable arcade have something to do with it? Though I would personally like a standalone version that has soft controls, rather than MAME type, but maybe that is a reason?
yeah please dig through these wishlists people are making, even if here is not enough votes it just mean not a lot of people know about certain game existence, not that they would dislike playing it if is any good :)
