Story:Alley Cat is an early video game in which the player controls a cat, navigating an alley screen and various challenge rooms. The player must enter a room and complete the objective inside, while avoid hazards such as objects being thrown out of windows, wandering dogs, giant spiders and the broomstick.
This game is unforgettable because it was the first introduction to a computer game (in a school lab). The fact that you can run it in memory (as you friend take the disk to run it on different computer) is great.
Be a computer game historian, bring this game back.
Fun little platformer. What can I say? I really like platformers, and this one is so nostalgic to me. I remember playing it back in my primary school days with my friends. It was this, or playing Bumpy's Arcade Fantasy which we loved as well.
I remember playing this when I was very small and the absurdity of it all just stuck with me as well as the crazy sounds it made. The variety of minigames is so much fun, even if there is no real endgame, that's the whole point of the game.
This was the first computer game I played at my house. It was so neat to play something different than something hooked up to a tv. It really was the start to a lifelong love of games.
I used to play this game by myself and also with my younger brother and we spent hours in front of the 286 computer and CGA monitor. It brings me fond memories and I´d really love for you guys to add it.
