Ohhhhhhhh We've got this notion That we'd quite like to sail the ocean So we're building a big boat to leave here for good Now we're not keen on sinking So that's why we're sitting thinking 'cause we've built it too big and we've run out of wood

The game of my childhood. I remember my sister introducing me to the game and making me dream. I'd watch my sister play for hours, with a cult moment in one of the quests, the song about the guy asking for wood for his boat. Even today, the game still makes me dream, with its innovative gameplay for its time. ❤️

A the time Black & White seemed to be an incredibly complex and multi-faceted game. Every choice you made mattered and pushed you towards Good or Evil, which had a direct manifestation on your familiar (my favorite was the Cow of course). Now that I think of it - even today's games aren't as complex as B&W. And of course nothing beats throwing peasants into the ocean and feeding them to your familiar to make it more Evil :D

One of my favorite games from my childhood. I loved the missions and side missions of this game. The most memorable for me were the sailors on the 1st island or this monk you needed to sneak up on and follow. The biggest feature was the creature you needed to teach miracles and how to behave. I always wanted to be good and teach my creature to be good too, but it was hard and people still needed something. I hope when it comes it will also comes with expansion "Creature Isle".

Black and White is in my top 3 games of all time. It is a true gem in gaming history and it deserves to be available for purchase and to be maintained. I can't say enough how important this title is to me and how it shaped my taste over the years. Nostalgia is just another reason I would like to be able to play it again. Brilliant title, way ahead of its time, absolutely worth bringing back.

It's one of these games that made me upgrade my PC to get it to run half decently. Also I never made it past I think World 4 so I have some catching up to do. It is an absolute unique specimen and I always loved spending time in the world, watching the people do their daily work and interacting with your create. It's absolute gold besides it's flaws.

Black and white, and in particular Black and White 2 for me are such unique games. They are the peak of Lionhead and there has been nothing like this since. I remember getting the chance to play it with my friends who had the first 'gaming rig'. Hopefully if it gets released, and with a positive following then companies like EA will see there is still a considerable opportunity to create a Black and White 3. For me it's a no-brainer when considering assessments on where the big corporates should invest their money.

I believe there never was a game again where your hand was just in the game. The Dungeon Keeper core memory was slapping chicken with my hand and in Black and White the 3d Handcursor was even more immersive!

While I've never played the game I remember reading about it i na PC magazine. It would be AWESOME to be able to play it. I feel like we need more 'god games'. I played enough MOBAs and action shooters, give us something more interesting and thoughtful!
Those games also need your vote!

Freelancer
FreelancerEight hundred years prior to the start of our story, bitter conflict divided all of mankind. A handful of colonists struck out on their own to begin anew - far away from the Earth and its turmoil. Several ships were launched with enough equipment and supplies to give the hundreds onboard a fighting chance - but since the area around far-off Sirius had never been surveyed, no one really knew what to expect. What they found was a new frontier of free-flowing natural resources, unexplored territories, great wonders and lurking dangers. Each ship, representing the clusters of people and their earthly place of origin, settled into different parts of the galaxy pre-selected by their ship-board computer to give them the best chance of survival. Life was hard in the beginning, but over the 800 years the different colonies prospered and expanded their territories, claiming more and more systems for their own. Survival and propagation eventually led to growth and profit as each of the colonies developed specialties and fostered commerce. As the colonies grew and time passed their connections with their roots on Earth dwindled and they lost their memories of the conflicts of the past. Soon their attention was dominated by new, more immediate conflicts. Feelings of lost ancestral connection spurred anachronism in the look of the great cities, and created a somewhat distorted image of each colony's cultural heritage. In the ever-expanding outer edge of the territories, frontier lawlessness prevailed. The Houses: Each shipboard colony that left Earth carried some memory of its origins in its name. The Liberty carried Americans, The Bretonia flew from The United Kingdom and surrounding territory, The Kusari from Asia, and the Rheinland launched with Germanic cargo. As each ship settled and colonies began to expand, they knew little about each other and their advancing development. Finally, little by little, the individual colonies found each other and began to set up trade routes to link their systems for commerce and solidarity. Today, with each colony firmly rooted in its respective corner of the galaxy, the colonies rely heavily on each other for trade and industry but also compete for resources and new territories in the Border Worlds. The colonies mandate member governments in "The New Alliance" within the Sirius sector. To control conflicts, each colony has forged alliances and treaties with others as they have grown. Competition remains fierce, however. Struggles rage for supremacy in business, commerce, resources, power and control. There can be tenuous peace between colonies' political agendas, but the grabs for holdings constantly unsettle the volatile frontier.
