I recall playing a mission within a desert location. The talks of Roswell, NM and fighting alien species was fantastic. For it being a game released back in 2007, the combat wasn't half bad. Almost felt like, for me anyway, playing some kind of game in a starship trooper type of universe. The story within the game was great too. I wish they had made more games like this over the years.

The second game I played on the Xbox 360 after Halo 3 and the first game I rented from the video store for it. Playing it through on PC many years after it was quite jank but entertaining and it stuck in my memory as charming in a very unintentional way that I would love to revisit.
State of EmergencyIn State of Emergency, the player can choose from one of five different characters: Spanky, an ex-gang member; McNeil, a disgruntled ex-cop; Bull, a criminal in prison; Libra, a lawyer; and Phreak, an orphan. The player must complete a variety of missions, ranging from Rescue missions to "Kill This Person" missions to "Blow Up This ..." missions.
The player has many different weapons at his or her disposal, including shotguns, machine guns, pistols, knives, rocket launchers, tear gas launchers, flame-throwers, gatling guns, pepper spray, molotov cocktails and more. It is even possible to use street props, such as boxes, construction cones, benches, signposts, trashcans, and more. Breaking and entering stores allows the player to use the items there as a weapon, such as a DVD player or a television. There are many different enemies such as gang members, skinheads, and The Corporation forces.Action
State of Emergency 2State of Emergency 2 (State of Emergency Revenge in Japan) is the sequel to State of Emergency. The game is available on PlayStation 2. It takes place ten years after the first game. It features more game modes and an enhanced engine. Time Crisis: Project TitanProject Titan features the same gameplay as the other Time Crisis games. It also retains the signature foot pedal. Players by default are in hiding position. They are shielded from taking fire, but they cannot fire back. In order to begin play, players must step on the pedal and begin firing. Stepping off the pad also allows the player to reload the gun.
This game introduces the a new gameplay mechanic that allows the player to move to multiple fixed locations, which are activated by shooting yellow arrows while the player is hiding. This feature was later reused in the arcade version of Time Crisis 4.
