Crackdown (2007)

by Realtime Worlds, Microsoft Game Studios
Genres:Role-playing (RPG), Adventure, Shooter, Fighting
Themes:Open world, Action, Science fiction, Sandbox
Game modes:Single player, Co-operative
Story:Crackdown is an open world, third-person shooter video game for the Xbox 360. Set in the fictional Pacific City, the player controls a biologically enhanced Agent, tasked with defeating three crime lords and their organized crime syndicates. The Agent's abilities improve by defeating both crime lords and their supporters, as well as by completing optional activities, such as street races and scavenger hunts. The gameplay is nonlinear: instead of following a rigid mission sequence, players are free to select the approach to completing their missions and activities. The game features a two-player cooperative play mode via Xbox Live. Crackdown, initially planned for release on the original Xbox console, was envisioned as a vast world in which players could experiment and explore freely. Microsoft Game Studios bundled specifically marked copies of Crackdown with an access code to the multiplayer test version of the much-anticipated Halo 3 Beta. The game sold 1.5 million copies in its first six months of release because everybody wanted to play Halo 3. It received positive reviews and has garnered several awards for its innovative gameplay. Crackdown was a free download (for Xbox Live Gold members only) from August 1st, 2013 to August 16th, 2013 as part of the Xbox 360 "Games With Gold" (Xbox Live) program.Show more

I absolutely loved this game. Helped me during hard times... I remember I used to play with my mates during those times. Truly, a wonderful game that stirs not just nostalgia, but also fun.
Awesome game with a basic sandbox element. Super fun to play with friends and complete the campaign. Super early title to the Xbox 360 so it has its ways of being 20 something years old now. Needs to be brough back so more people can play it!

RuneSword 2RuneSword 2
RuneSword 2Runesword II (RSII) is a CRPG designed to appeal to the "pen & paper" role-player. RSII features turn-based, strategic combat, 50+ skills, 12+ races, and several full-length adventures to play set in the world of Eternia; not to mention adventures to play in other world settings. What really makes RuneSword stand out is a flexible, easy-to-use engine for creating your own adventures and even your own worlds. But, ease-of-use does not mean wimpy or limited; RuneSword has a robust scripting engine that allows you to do just aout anything you can imagine.

Vampire Rain: Altered Species
Vampire Rain: Altered SpeciesVampire Rain: Altered Species is a Playstation 3 port of Vampire Rain. Gameplay is in the third person, and involves a lot stealth play, similar to the Splinter Cell and Metal Gear Solid series, with some platform, exploration and combat-style elements too. Players often need to take advantage of the darkness to stay undetected for an entire mission. This is further encouraged to exceptionally strong enemies and the lack of effective close-combat weapons for a large part of the game. The arsenal includes a handgun, sub-machine gun, assault rifle, shotgun, sniper rifle, anti-armor rifle and a UV Knife. Traps are more effective and large groups of Nightwalkers can be taken out all at once by killing the master known as the Prime Walker.
