This game helped me through my loneliness and depression at the time of its release. Kind of insane how this predated the COVID pandemic a few months before it's release. Would love to see the director's cut on GOG someday.

It has many genres: action, shooting, horror, story depth, nature: mountains, snow, waterfalls, cars, trucks, motorcycles, racetrack, climbing, human and super natural enemies, huge boss fights, weapons, alternative worlds like several fights with conventional weapons in vietnam and others. Stealth. Did I say very good music? This game can teach people to relax. And at it's heart to connect to others somehow. Even Norman learned it, so everyone can ^_^)

Will be a challenge to bring here as it has a strong online component where you share progress with other players on infrastructure built across it's worlds to traverse it's hostile environments. Can be played offline though. A cinematic survival experience and Hideo Kojima's first project after leaving Konami. Would love to get a copy off GOG that I can play with mods with.
One of the best story-based game I've played. It has very good music. This game can teach people to relax. And at its heart to connect to others somehow. This game helped me through my loneliness and depression at the time of its release.

I mean, yeah! Sure. Having a Hideo Kojima game (aside from Metal Gear series) in GOG is a must. I personally find Death Stranding a relaxing aesthetics game. Cinema-slow, which is good. But, for some people that is not the case. I don't care if it's the Director's Cut or the original, since the only benefit of the DC is just graphical stuff that is just okay with product placement removed. So..sure...added it to the list I guess.

Like The Last of Us, this game influenced a lot of other games, plus it's from an important game designer. Every game should be available with an offline installer like the ones available when purchasing on GOG. Obviously, I would prefer if we would get the Director's Cut. ;)

Perfect Dark
Perfect DarkPerfect Dark is a remastered release of the first-person shooter video game by the same name. Developed by 4J Studios and published by Microsoft Game Studios a decade after the original's 2000 release, the remaster features several technical improvements, including higher resolution textures and models, a higher frame rate, and a multiplayer mode that supports the Xbox Live online service. It was released for the Xbox 360 video game console in March 2010, through the Xbox Live Arcade download service. The story of the game follows Joanna Dark, an agent of the Carrington Institute organization, as she attempts to stop a conspiracy by rival corporation dataDyne. Perfect Dark was under development for nearly a year and its game engine was completely re-written from scratch to support several Xbox 360 features. Therefore, although the game plays exactly the same as the original, the code and renderer is different. The game received generally favorable reviews. Some critics considered the relatively unchanged game to be outdated, but most agreed that the title was a solid revival of a classic.

Perfect Dark
Perfect DarkPerfect Dark is a first-person shooter video game developed by Rare and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo 64 video game console. It is considered the spiritual successor to Rare's earlier first-person shooter GoldenEye 007, with which it shares many gameplay features. Perfect Dark was first released in North America on 22 May 2000; PAL and NTSC-J releases followed soon afterwards. A separate Game Boy Color game, also titled Perfect Dark, was released in August 2000 as a supplement to the game and allows certain features within the Nintendo 64 game to alternatively be unlocked via a Transfer Pak. The game features a single-player mode consisting of 17 main missions in which the player assumes the role of Carrington Institute agent Joanna Dark as she attempts to stop a conspiracy by rival corporation dataDyne. It also features a range of multiplayer options, including a co-operative mode and traditional deathmatch settings. Technically, it is one of the most advanced games developed for the Nintendo 64, with an optional high resolution graphics mode and Dolby Surround Sound. A Nintendo 64 Expansion Pak is required to access the game's campaign and most of the multiplayer features.

Time Crisis: Project Titan
Time Crisis: Project TitanProject Titan features the same gameplay as the other Time Crisis games. It also retains the signature foot pedal. Players by default are in hiding position. They are shielded from taking fire, but they cannot fire back. In order to begin play, players must step on the pedal and begin firing. Stepping off the pad also allows the player to reload the gun. This game introduces the a new gameplay mechanic that allows the player to move to multiple fixed locations, which are activated by shooting yellow arrows while the player is hiding. This feature was later reused in the arcade version of Time Crisis 4.
