I remember playing this old gem on my crappy old laptop while being a broke college student. It was a really good time even though it only ran on 30 fps or less. Being a game about post-apocalypse, I really like the vehicle designs, it was a mishmash of vehicles from all sorts of life. Did I mention the map? The map was the largest gaming ever had at that point and still ranks in top 10 even after all these years. It was sad that the game got pulled from store around 2015, I wish it was back on store on a better form
played this game on xbox360 back in the day. recently downloaded it for pc since its abandoned ware and it aged like fine wine. so many fun hours of play to be had. massive open world, tons of side objectives to have fun with, races where decent also. wish it would come back.

The idea of having a seemingly infinite world to drive was always enticing to me. A post-apocalyptic world, with all kinds of vehicles, deserted roads, races, challenges and a few points of interest to explore, plus being able to simply drive anywhere without limits? That's FUEL. I first learned about this game so long ago when I didn't own an X360 or PS3, only in 2016 I was finally able to build a basic gaming PC and bought a key, what a game! Unfortunately, it was released in the time of Games For Windows Live, which makes it extremely difficult to play today, even owning it legally, and I have lost my save file twice already because I needed to reinstall my OS and the save file is locked to GFWL's account/PC, backing up the save file doesn't work because it's somehow protected and changes every time. Please bring it back GOG! The world would be a better place if you can do it.
Never had a chance to play this when it was still available, but damn it if this game doesn't bring a wave of nostalgia because of Achievement Hunter and their legendary let's plays of this game.

Alfa Romeo Racing Italiano
Alfa Romeo Racing ItalianoAlfa Romeo Racing Italiano, known in Europe as SCAR, is a Gran Turismo-style racing game. It is similar to the Gran Turismo series except for the role-playing game elements. The game was lauded for having artificial intelligence superior to Gran Turismo 4. When compared to Gran Turismo 4, Alfa Romeo Racing Italiano has far fewer cars and tracks. All the cars in the game are manufactured by the Alfa Romeo motor company. While most of the tracks are in Italy, a few are in other countries like Germany and the United States. A distinguishing feature of the game is that it models driver development using a system almost identical to a role-playing video game. In addition, cars get damaged, both visibly and in performance, by collisions or by driving off course.

Metropolis Street Racer
Metropolis Street RacerGameplay in MSR is centred around the single-player mode, with tracks and cars in the multiplayer mode being unlocked at the same time as in the single-player game. The premise is that, as a street racer, the player must impress other drivers with quick but stylish driving in a series of challenges. These challenges are in sets of ten (called Chapters - there are 25 in total), with completion of all challenges opening the next chapter (assuming the player has enough Kudos, see below) and unlocking a new car. Each challenge is on a different track, and unlocking a challenge unlocks that track in the time-attack and multiplayer modes.
