Gleeful euphoria. The absolute apex of my childhood. This game was so alive, eclectic, sophisticated and innovative. It really felt like a dream world... but so tangible, like a diorama with a warm pulse. For a timeless peer-to-peer multiplayer game with millions of community levels to lie dark, silent and inaccessible is very sad.
I'm not sure how to put this, but my boyfriend-at-the-time and I were dating a girl together (don't judge us!) and when we weren't otherwise engaged this game had us -hooked-. It was so happy and playful and the music was incredible. It was a blast to play with friends and even though the threesome didn't last (I married my boyfriend, tho!) the memories of this game are something we still talk about. But that music!!
Mirror's Edge CatalystMirror's Edge Catalyst is an action-adventure game and the prequel to Mirror's Edge. The story in the game explores the past of the protagonist Faith. Like in the previous game, the main gameplay in Mirror's Edge Catalyst involves traversing the city using parkour to reach certain objectives.
