I remember playing the PS version of this game with a girl that I would in later years marry. We are both fans of Marvel Comics so to play a game like this together was something special. We enjoyed this action RPG, the story, the numerous characters to play as, and the settings. Sadly this game is no longer able to be purchased anywhere. It would be fantastic if GOG could save this game from obscurity.
It would be great alongside X-Men Legends game, Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2, & 2016 versions of the 1st MUA to be added on GOG. Because MUA1 has lots of modding community in Marvel Mods. As of now, 2006 PC can now add 50 heroes max, w/ converting XML games to MUA1 engine is possible. While the rest like adding more items, loading screens, simulations, .etc are in works, & may take long to exceed its game inclusion limits.
Part of my childhood, completed it many times on my PS2, it would be amazing if we had the Gold version, it has extra characters. I don't know what the situation is with Activision because they delisted this one and the 2nd game a few years ago, I guess it was due to licensing issues. But I hope someday we will see them again.
Loved this game as a child and it's sequel as well. Nothing even comes close to a great marvel team up game than this, one of the best beat em up games out there
One of my childhood games. Me and my brothers would stay up all night playing it to unlock all the characters and get the good ending. It helped show us how truly huge the Marvel Universe is and gave us the push to explore it further. Also the combat's just a really solid Diablo-like!
This game is the reason i got into super heroes and comics. Its one of the best games from my childhood. I remember sitting infront of the TV playing this for hours and hours every weekend, My little mind being blown when i got to the second hub area after a few months. I love this game.
Foi meu primeiro game beat em up 3D em estilo RPG que joguei. Eu o conheci poucos meses depois do seu lançamento e quando comecei a jogar não consegui parar mais. Atualmente jogo ele muito usando mods. Cara, tem uma infinidade de mods pra instalar, com todas as possibilidades. Mod de carateres (no meu game tem uns 200 mods de caracteres), mod de estágios, mod de sons, mod de skins, huds, icones, de interface, de animações, cara, atualmente dá pra modificar tudo, mas o mod mais incrível é o que aumentou o limite de caracteres jogáveis num save. Saímos do limite de 27 personagens para 50 personagens. Cara a experiência é outra! Desse jeito MUA nunca morrerá! Espero q possamos ter essa franquia de volta e que nossa opinião seja relevante na construção desse retorno.
I discovered this game exactly the year it was released. At the time, we rented it to play. It was really cool back then when my friends and I would get together to play. But it was when I got my first PS2 that I was able to play it a lot. Later on, I started playing it on my PC. Many thanks to the creators for this gem called Marvel Ultimate Alliance.
Its the definitive Marvel Universe experience IMO and such a great multiplayer game. Ive spent so many hours with my brothers and friends making different teams and sabotaging each other as much as helping lol. Great power sets for these characters and an engaging yet typical comic book story line. Takes you to some great locales and theres plenty to do. While Ive only ever played vanilla Im sure there are some awesome mods out there because i know there are for x-men legends 2 (which i would love to see preserved as well!)
One magical night in 2007, I guess it was junior high school, me and four other friends spent our new years's eve playing this game all the way till late morning. What a magical time - snacks, soda and no worries in sight.
I always cheesed out and played as Ghost Rider (he's kinda overpowered), stealing all the kills from my friends, to a point where my bff, who played as Wolverine had vains popping and muscles spazzin out POWER GAMING like a madman trying to get to enemies before I zap them with my one-click insta-kill fireball :D
We're all in our 30's now and we're all ready to repeat this night. This HAS to happen :D

Klonoa Heroes: Densetsu no Star Medal is a spin-off of the Klonoa franchise, released only in Japan on December 13, 2002. Klonoa Heroes was developed by Namco and published by Namco for the Game Boy Advance. Klonoa Heroes is a twist on the traditional Klonoa games, putting Klonoa in a more action role playing game along the lines of Legend of Zelda or Beyond Oasis. The game does have voice acting, as well. Kumiko Watanabe plays Klonoa, Takahiro Sakurai plays Guntz, Shouzou Iizuke plays Pango, and Yutaka Shimaka plays Garlen.
Klonoa Heroes' gameplay is very similar to the gameplay of The Legend of Zelda. Players can control one of three characters (Klonoa, Guntz, and Pango) in a top-down perspective, hitting enemies with various attacks (Klonoa with the Wind Ring seen in the platforming games, albeit with a few differences). Guntz uses a handgun, while Pango throws bombs. In addition, these characters can collect more weapons as the game progresses. Every enemy in the game is given a color (either blue or red), and the player must attack that enemy with the corresponding attack (as each weapon has a blue and red attack).
Klonoa Heroes also has role playing aspects. Experience points are gathered by picking up Dream Shards after defeating enemies (failure to pick them up results in no experience). Enemies also drop coins, which can be spent on items and weapons. These items can be found in chests scattered throughout the levels, as well. Most items can be used to restore health, but there are various other uses (such as stat benefits). Leveling up also allows the player to distribute points in several different areas (traditional role playing game stats, such as attack, defense, and agility). These changes are not permanent, and can be changed at any time (when not in the middle of a level).Action Kids

KuonKuon is a horror game set in Heian period (12th century) in Japan. You control three protagonists in the game. The story revolves around a man named Doman, an exorcist who was summoned by one of the noblemen to investigate a cursed manor. His daughter Utsuki is out to search for him when he doesn't return, and her sister is charmed by demons inhabiting a mysterious castle, turning into a demon herself. A young girl named Sakuya, Doman's disciple, also ventures into the depths of the demonic world, to prove herself worthy of her master. Once the player completes Utsuki's and Sakuya's scenarios, they unlocks the third scenario where they experiences the story from the point of view of Doman himself.
The game is a mixture of third-person action and puzzle-solving. As in all survival horror games, your means of defense are limited and scarce. Unlike most games of the kind, physical attacks with weapons are not your only way to defend yourself against hordes of undead creatures.
