Pacific Rift was arguably the BEST in the series IMHO in terms of graphics, setting, soundtrack, content, and multiplayer. This game right here would look absolutely AMAZING at 4K60 FPS or at the very least 1080P60 FPS. I remember playing some multiplayer games here. This game was very fun but also challenging once you started getting up there in the end game races, I remember there was this one race where all of your Opps were in monster trucks, and you were forced to use a motorcycle (absolute crazy work there lmao). This game on GOG if the multiplayer servers were somehow revived would absolutely slap for the motor storm community and newcomers who have never played these games before.
I would play this game every chance I got when I was a kid. I would play this game all the time by myself or with my brother. This game is literally my childhood.
Easily one of the best and underrated offroad racing games Sony and Evolution studios ever produced. The tracks, the Hawaiian scenery, and iconic vehicles all make this game a masterpiece that was adored by fans but not by Sony. If Sony remastered this or any game in the series, i bet you a million dollars it would give Gran Turismo a run for its money. Let alone Concord 😭

As close to an objective improvement as a sequel can get. The core identity of Motorstorm is kept completely intact, even with an entirely new locale, more nuanced boost mechanics and the inclusion of an additional vehicle class. Perhaps the most underappreciated addition this game brought, however, was being able to customize the entire field of racers for each race in single player. 1 bike versus 15 big rigs on a track that favours the latter was but the tip of the iceberg in experimentation. There were so many different scenarios you could create for fun, or to challenge yourself. Handling was much improved over the original too, as well as split routes within the tracks, so every vehicle class has a reasonable chance of winning. A thumping licensed soundtrack and challenging AI cemented Pacific Rift as one of my fondest gaming memories, never mind racing games.

Forza Motorsport 4
Forza Motorsport 4Forza Motorsport 4 is a racing video game, and the fourth in the Forza Motorsport series. Like Sony's Gran Turismo franchise, Forza games are racing simulations; heavy emphasis is placed on making the cars drive and look as realistic as possible. Races are conducted on closed circuit tracks. 500 cars are featured in the core game experience, ranging from road cars to race cars. Players can utilize Kinect to look into a corner using a new head tracking feature. This allows them to look toward the apex of a corner or at nearby cars. The controller or steering wheel is used to control the car while Kinect is used independently for viewing around the driver. Players can also use Kinect as a game controller. In this setting the game automatically accelerates and decelerates the player's vehicle utilizing a modified version of the feature known as Auto Brake in Forza Motorsport 3. The steering is controlled by placing the players arms out as if controlling an invisible steering wheel. Kinect will allow the player to use voice commands to start races and navigate menus.

Crash 'n' the Boys: Street Challenge
Crash 'n' the Boys: Street ChallengeTheodore "Todd" Thornley IV has had enough. After being humiliated once again by his rival, Jeff "Crash" Cooney and his blue-collar buddies from Southside High School at the All-City Track Meet, he has decided to issue a challenge to Crash. Inviting two of the other elite high schools to participate in the challenge, plus an additional team sponsored by his wealthy father, Todd has seemingly stacked the deck against Crash and his boys. The game has four different teams to choose from, as well as a fifth computer-controlled team. Each team have five members each with their own strengths and weaknesses, making some better suited to certain events than others. Before each event, players have the opportunity to go shopping in the mall to buy power-ups for their characters. These items are paid for through the various medals that each team achieve as they progress through the challenge, but since the winner of the challenge is the team that collects the most medals overall, players must be fairly judicious in how much they spend. There are two types of events in the game: individual events (Hammer Throw and Roof Top Jumping) and head-to-head events (400 Meter Hurdles, Swimming and Fighting). In individual events, each team takes turn individually and ranking is determined by who gets the most points. The head-to-head events take place under a single elimination tournament format, in which one player against another in a series of heats. The player who successfully defeats both of his opponents will get to compete against a member of Team Thornley for first place. The game can be played by up to four players. Since there's never more than two teams competing at the same time, the third and fourth player can play simply by alternating between the two controllers. Thus, a four player adapter is not required, unlike other Kunio-kun games.

Metropolis Street Racer
Metropolis Street RacerGameplay in MSR is centred around the single-player mode, with tracks and cars in the multiplayer mode being unlocked at the same time as in the single-player game. The premise is that, as a street racer, the player must impress other drivers with quick but stylish driving in a series of challenges. These challenges are in sets of ten (called Chapters - there are 25 in total), with completion of all challenges opening the next chapter (assuming the player has enough Kudos, see below) and unlocking a new car. Each challenge is on a different track, and unlocking a challenge unlocks that track in the time-attack and multiplayer modes.
