while we did in fact get the remaster of this game, and it's a beautiful remaster at that. there is something different about this version of the game that one can say the remake didnt exactly capture. im willing to go as far as to say the remaster is too heavily influenced by NieR:Automata's style and in a way lessens its original grimy and gritty identity. the original game has a fantastic soundtrack that honestly far exceeds the remaster's, the artstyle and world isnt exactly the prettiest but it gives the game such a unique and unforgettable vibe that again the remaster is missing. we probably wont be getting this especially with the remaster existing, but i really, really hope so.

Dungeons and Dragons: Tower of DoomTower of Doom is a side-scrolling arcade game featuring four different characters (cleric, dwarf, elf, fighter) fighting iconic Dungeons & Dragons monsters. The gameplay is more technical than the average on beat'em up games. In addition to the usual basic attacks and jumping it includes blocking, strong attacks, turning attacks, dashing attacks, crouching and evading. It also requires the use of careful tactics, as most enemies have the same abilities as the heroes and can out-range them, too. As important as melee combat is ranged combat and the use of spells. Daggers, hammers, arrows and burning oils can be used as throwing weapons, and many enemies have similar weapons. Spells can be used by means of magical rings or by the two playable spellcasters (a cleric and an elf).

Metal Slug 6 introduces a new play mechanic dubbed the 'Weapon Stock System'. Two gun power-ups can now be carried at the same time. Players can switch between the two weapons, or simply put them both away in favor of the default weapon. When obtaining a new weapon power-up, it will automatically occupy the inactive slot, or, if both are holstered, replace the less recent weapon of the two.
The score is now multiplied by powers of 2. The faster the speed at which enemies are killed, the higher the power, as a meter at the bottom of the screen shows. When it says "Max" enemies and destructible objects will drop coins for an extra high score.Action Warfare
