I could talk about how much I love this game, and how special it is to me, for pages. I actually met the developers in Las Vegas's Cyber X Games in 2003 and learned a lot about its development and the Diversions relationship with Epic. This game came out just a few months before Steam and before digital distribution and easy patching became widespread. With a little compatibility-love, I know this game could reach the audience that it deserves! And a second chance to release the mod tools that were promised, once upon a time. That promise motivated and inspired me to learn 3D modeling. Through this game, I discovered a new passion for polygons and 3D artistic expression.

Despite having its issues, it was slightly ahead of its time with massive 3d battles. I remember some of the hardest matches have you play against practical horde of enemies. It's also a bit of a pain to make work on modern systems so having it on GoG with easy install would be fantastic.

This game was so awesome but like other reviewers have said it was just a little ahead of its time. It requires a fairly beefy graphics cards when it first came out, severely limiting the target audience. Additionally, patching it became difficult after the game had been released for some time. With a little love this would be one heck of a re-release. I loved OMF 2097 and I spent so much time following the development of this game on the official message board back in the relative early days of the internet. Of course I bought the game ASAP when it was released and it didn't disappoint! The game had so many cool things going for it! GOG adding this game would complete me.

I remember all the fun times with this game. It was a ahead of its time like other said. I remember they ran an art contest and I won a signed copy (which I still have to this day) of the game :)

One Must Fall: 2097 is a must have fighting game for PC and while battlegrounds is a far inferior game and will probably need some work to fix all the bugs I feel it would be wrong to not include Battlegrounds to complete the series.
Those games also need your vote!

Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe
Mortal Kombat vs. DC UniverseIn this arcade-style fighting game, both DC and Mortal Kombat universes are represented by 10 champions each, and one "boss" character, for a total of 22 fighters. Play is similar to the 2D Mortal Kombat games (with some 3D elements), focusing more on the special move aspect than the complex combos found in the previous three games (Deadly Alliance, Deception, Armageddon). As with any Mortal Kombat game, Fatalities are still present for the Kombatants and villains, though slightly toned down to meet the DC standards of heroes such as Superman and Batman keeping to their moral code and not killing their opponent. As a result, the DC heroes perform "Heroic Brutalities", which effectively put their opponent out of commission.
