Story:Project I.G.I.: I'm Going In (released in Europe as simply Project I.G.I.) is a tactical first-person shooter developed by Innerloop Studios and released on December 15, 2000 by Eidos Interactive. It is one of the first computer games to feature realistic weaponry and tactical combat situations. Pursue and defeat a homicidal ex-Russian Colonel before she turns Europe into a nuclear wasteland in Project IGI: I'm Going In. This first-person shooter emphasizes stealth and guile instead of massive firepower. Jones has to sneak into the toughest military installations in Eastern Europe, and once inside, use his skills in thievery, computer hacking, sabotage, and reconnaissance to stop the madwoman. The enemy's Artificial Intelligence will react to his every action and use military tactics to track his position. In order to counter its surveillance, bunkers, tanks, and gunships, Jones is equipped with NATO spy gear and assault weapons. If the odds get stacked too high against him, he can call in a napalm strike via his Map Computer. Upon release the game garnered mixed reviews due to a number of shortcomings, such as poorly programmed Artificial intelligence, lack of a mid-game save option, and the lack of multiplayer features. However it was praised for its superb sound design and graphics, thanks in part to its use of a proprietary game engine that was previously used in Innerloop's Joint Strike Fighter. It was followed up in 2003 by I.G.I.-2: Covert Strike.Show more

It was my favorite game from my childhood. In every corner at this game i felt like i was there before, in a dream or something. But when i grown up - i couldn't find it anymore. I don't want to download illegal copies, use "No CD" patches etc. I just want my favorite game back.

Project I.G.I. was so innovative for its time ! One of the first, if not the first FPS game, to offer so much liberty in large open maps and close close sensations of being an agent going behind enemy lines, trying either to be stealthy or to go full guns blazing. The game was hard and had no save system but this was all part of the fun, it pushed us to surpass ourselves and learn every part of the map to get to the end of the mission. It was one of the games opening the era of great tactical games back then, it needs to be preserved !

I wrote a big 1000 character post about this but the page error'd out and deleted it when I hit share so I'll keep this brief. I never really got along with my dad, but one day he brought this game home and we just sat and played for hours at a time, I value my memories of this game as one of the few times me and my father really connected and weren't arguing about something. It's a foundational memory for me and something that will stick with me forever, the fact that right now this game is essentially lost to time is disappointing to say the least. But this program is a fantastic chance to bring it back. I wont lie to you and say it will sell a billion copies, but for the fans of this game, nothing comes close. It would be incredible to have this back in my life.

I have searched a lot on the Internet and in the GOG Store for this game I have been frustrated for not being available to download it in a legal and safe way from the most beautiful games that I enjoyed playing in my childhood. She has a special atmosphere.
Playing the game with cousins during out childhood while sneaking throught enemy base was always fun and an adrenaline rush in our childhood . Love the game a lot

Not only does Project IGI have beautiful visuals (shared with the Joint Strike Fighter engine), the soundtrack is also very fitting (and still on my phone to listen to!) - it's certainly not the all-time best spy action game for everyone, but it has a special place in my heart since childhood. Oh, and yes, you can reach the end of the game world after like 3-4 hours of walking.

I remember like it was yesterday, I was vising my cousin who had a PC (my family didn't own one at the time), it was Christmas 2002 or 2003, and he showed me this game. It was incredible, looked and sounded great, had great atmosphere (still remember a map when there was constant rain) and seemed so realistic. I would love to be able to play it again on modern hardware.

One of the first game I've ever played on my Second Hand PC. Still remember the time when I found it randomly while going through start and it only had a folder icon but not game icon. I dont even know if I completed it or not because all I could see were only 3 levels in game. I never found out if there was more to the game after those 3. Then I moved on to other games like Prince of Persia Trilogy and Halo.
I've never forgotten the game my older brother had on his computer when he was still living alone, so it would be a huge treat to play it again. It makes me feel like a real agent, whether I want to do my best to sneak around the lanes or I just want to fight loose.
Those games also need your vote!

Freelancer
FreelancerEight hundred years prior to the start of our story, bitter conflict divided all of mankind. A handful of colonists struck out on their own to begin anew - far away from the Earth and its turmoil. Several ships were launched with enough equipment and supplies to give the hundreds onboard a fighting chance - but since the area around far-off Sirius had never been surveyed, no one really knew what to expect. What they found was a new frontier of free-flowing natural resources, unexplored territories, great wonders and lurking dangers. Each ship, representing the clusters of people and their earthly place of origin, settled into different parts of the galaxy pre-selected by their ship-board computer to give them the best chance of survival. Life was hard in the beginning, but over the 800 years the different colonies prospered and expanded their territories, claiming more and more systems for their own. Survival and propagation eventually led to growth and profit as each of the colonies developed specialties and fostered commerce. As the colonies grew and time passed their connections with their roots on Earth dwindled and they lost their memories of the conflicts of the past. Soon their attention was dominated by new, more immediate conflicts. Feelings of lost ancestral connection spurred anachronism in the look of the great cities, and created a somewhat distorted image of each colony's cultural heritage. In the ever-expanding outer edge of the territories, frontier lawlessness prevailed. The Houses: Each shipboard colony that left Earth carried some memory of its origins in its name. The Liberty carried Americans, The Bretonia flew from The United Kingdom and surrounding territory, The Kusari from Asia, and the Rheinland launched with Germanic cargo. As each ship settled and colonies began to expand, they knew little about each other and their advancing development. Finally, little by little, the individual colonies found each other and began to set up trade routes to link their systems for commerce and solidarity. Today, with each colony firmly rooted in its respective corner of the galaxy, the colonies rely heavily on each other for trade and industry but also compete for resources and new territories in the Border Worlds. The colonies mandate member governments in "The New Alliance" within the Sirius sector. To control conflicts, each colony has forged alliances and treaties with others as they have grown. Competition remains fierce, however. Struggles rage for supremacy in business, commerce, resources, power and control. There can be tenuous peace between colonies' political agendas, but the grabs for holdings constantly unsettle the volatile frontier.

Scarface: The World Is Yours
Scarface: The World Is YoursThe game begins in the film's final scene, with Tony Montana's (Andre Sogliuzzo) mansion being raided by Alejandro Sosa's assassins. But this is the point of divergence from the film. Instead of being killed by the Skull, Tony manages to sense him and shoots him down. He fights through his mansion, with many deaths on both sides. In the ensuing chaos, Tony sneaks to the front of the mansion, barely alive, and manages to escape in his car. Sosa is then informed that Tony's mansion has been seized and his massive drug empire has been reduced to nothing. Hiding in a safehouse located outside of Miami, Tony regrets the decisions he has made but swears revenge on Sosa.
