There's a reason Ratchet and Clank 3 is the highest rated Insomniac game. I grew up with those games as a kid, unfortunately for me Sony doesn't care about them. Here's hoping we can bring them back somehow.

I grew up playing the original games on the PS2. I grew up with an older brother, and up until that point in my life, most of the games I had played where handed down or games he shared with me. The first Ratchet and Clank game from 2002 was the first video game that was truly my own. I remember owning a demo disc with Ratchet, Sly and other classics and telling my mom about how much I wanted to own the game so I could play it in its entirety (the demo only had Blackwater city and Metropolis). I spent so many hours playing these games as a kid. I must've beat R&C 3 about 10 times alone. I also have many fond memories of playing the multiplayer maps in 3 with my brother after school. It would mean a lot to me if this collection of games could be ported and future proofed.

It's ridiculous to me that we have Rift Apart but not the OG trilogy with Deadlocked on Steam... I never even believed that Ratchet & Clank would end up on pc but it did! The community would be absolutely revived if we got the games on steam!!!! PLEASE SONY I BEG
Having these games on PC would be a dream come true and would definitely be hyped to see what mods we can get for this too but just replaying the games the way they are would be enough for me and is a deal for the first 3 ratchet games.

Played these games while I was on a binge of classic PlayStation 2 games recently, and I think that they absolutely deserves the right to see new life on the PC, giving people the opportunity this treasured trilogy on a system that would not have been able to in accordance with the law.
I loathe PC gamers with great intensity but I do believe in game preservation even if I out and out despise PC gamers. As for Ratchet and Clank it's an awesome classic that PC gamers are unworthy off but luckily for them I wanna support classic games not going extinct.

RC3 was the first game that I remember playing at a friends home then once I was home described it in detail to my pairents who did not understand what I was talking about. Made me want a PS2. My PS3 died so I can't play the remakes anymore. Having it on PC/Steam Deck would be great.

If I just sat here spewing quotes from Ratchet 1-3 & Deadlocked I would probably get my memory removed for spam, but a lot of them live so deeply in my head that I wanted to bring it up. This series has permanently altered my brain chemistry, and I wish to keep it that way. Put the games on the puter, so I can give you my money. We'll See.

Remember playing the crap out of these games as a kid. The humor was spot on, the platforming paired well with the combat and the RYNO concept was so cool, and is missing from too many games.
Those games also need your vote!

God of War
God of WarGod of War is an action-adventure hack-and-slash video game developed by Santa Monica Studio and published by Sony Computer Entertainment (SCE). Initially launched for the PlayStation 2, the game stands as the first instalment in the God of War series and the third in chronological order. Loosely inspired by Greek mythology, it unfolds in ancient Greece with vengeance as its central theme. The player takes on the role of Kratos, the protagonist, a Spartan warrior devoted to the Olympian gods. Tasked by the goddess Athena, Kratos is assigned to eliminate Ares, the God of War and Kratos' former mentor. Ares had deceitfully manipulated Kratos into killing his wife and daughter. As Ares attacks Athens fueled by hatred for Athena, Kratos embarks on a quest to locate Pandora's Box, the sole object capable of permanently stopping the vengeful god.

God of War: Chains of Olympus
God of War: Chains of OlympusKratos makes his inaugural appearance on a portable gaming platform in the third instalment of the God of War series. Chains of Olympus serves as a prequel, unfolding its narrative a decade before the events in the original God of War. While retaining the familiar gameplay dynamics of its predecessors, subtle modifications enhance the overall experience. Kratos embarks on a journey through various levels, engaging in relentless combat against foes and formidable bosses, deciphering puzzles based on manipulating boxes, and participating in quick-time events. Throughout his odyssey, he amasses red orbs to fortify his weapons and abilities, secures Gorgon eyeballs to augment his health, and acquires Phoenix feathers to amplify his magical prowess. The game's controls underwent refinement to harmonize with the reduced button configuration of the PSP. Dodging, for instance, now necessitates the utilization of both shoulder buttons and the analogue stick. The iconic Blades of Chaos, synonymous with the God of War series, make a return, accompanied by an array of new weapons and magical spells such as the Sun Shield, Efreet spell, and Light of Dawn. The narrative unfolds as the Gods dispatch Kratos to the city of Attica, charging him with the defence against an encroaching Persian army. However, as Morpheus unleashes chaos, Kratos finds himself compelled to harness his formidable powers to once again rescue the world from impending doom.

God of War: Ascension
God of War: AscensionGod of War: Ascension, the seventh instalment in the God of War series, acts as a prequel to the preceding games. The narrative revolves around Kratos, the protagonist from earlier instalments, who was once a loyal servant of the God of War, Ares. Tricked by Ares into unknowingly murdering his own family, Kratos breaks the blood oath binding him to Ares and abandons his former master. Subsequently, Kratos finds himself imprisoned and must navigate a path to freedom, severing the bond between him and Ares. The game retains the familiar hack-and-slash combat system of its predecessors, featuring Kratos wielding the Blades of Chaos. However, a new addition, the World Weapon system, allows Kratos to wield various weapons. Additionally, Kratos can now acquire up to four magical disciplines—Fires of Ares, Ice of Poseidon, Lightning of Zeus, and Soul of Hades—each bestowing unique abilities and imbuing his weapon with magic. For instance, the Ice of Poseidon enables underwater breathing. Rage, a recurring feature, undergoes modifications; it accumulates through attacks, and when the bar is full, it automatically unleashes until the player ceases attacking or sustains damage. Three new relics provide Kratos with the ability to manipulate time, create a "shadow" self, and dispel illusions crafted by his guardians. Notably, God of War: Ascension introduces online multiplayer to the series. Players, before engaging in multiplayer battles, align with one of four gods—Ares, Hades, Zeus, or Poseidon—each offering a distinct set of abilities. As players accumulate experience and level up their warriors, they unlock magical abilities, armour, weapons, relics, and other treasures. The game features four distinct multiplayer modes: Team Favor of the Gods, Match of Champions, Trial of the Gods, and Capture the Flag
