From the man who created Mega Man, this is the Mega Man in 3D you wanted. The character may be different and some aspects of gameplay but at its core the gameplay feels like what you would want from a 3D Mega Man. The platforming in the dungeons and the boss fights. The normal combat lets you use lock on but you just can't shake the fact of who made this.
This is a game I think could have had a sequel and sold well despite the sales of the original. It just needed to be given a chance to blossom.
