This brilliant game has satisfying action RPG gameplay as well as a brilliant soundtrack that includes vocal contributions from the famous Nana Mizuki. It's also never been DRM-free before (Denuvo, even) so a GOG version would do a lot of good in preserving the game for posterity.
Flashback: The Quest for IdentityThroughout the 20th century, an unprecedented political and economic crisis afflicted Earth, leading to the systematic disabling of it's programme to conquer outer space through lack of funding. The highest priority now was to carryout research into new energy sources, preservation of the enviro- ment and maintenance of the cultural heritage. The conquest began gradually with the construction of huge, manned artificial satellites. Several lunar bases were created with the view to becoming future Earth colonies within the solar system. You play the part of Conrad Hart, controlling his every move through the 6 levels of the game. During your quest, you will come across many different friends and foes whom you may wish to help or vanquish using your gun. you will have to complete many challenges in order to restore your lost memory. You have a lot of freedom what to do and what not do do - you can explore the world or concentrate on the plot.
Combat is complete turn based but if you are wounded your combat abilities start to decrease dramatically. The character system is based on "learning by doing" - if you use a certain weapon you get better in using it. There are no experiment points.
