The hard part was finding all the 108 characters for the best ending for the first game but the story of first game and your ability to upgrade your castle made this game memorable.
The second game I never got to finish but I would rather buy these on GOG than steam when it releases in March.
You know how Pokemon is famous for needing to catch em all? This game is about recruiting every hidden character in the game. And there are a bunch. Loosely based on the classic chinese novel Water Margin, with the 108 spirits of Heaven and Earth who rebel against the corrupt government. Lovely story and gameplay and lots of secrets to uncover.
I once tried playing it on a ps1 emulator on pc. It worked fine, but i would much prefer have it normally like this instead. A legit way to play this game would be very cool. The collectathon path of the game remains very good, and the story too. I would love to see it come back.
I don't know how many hours (days) I spent on this game in front of my Playstation, looking for stars and replaying battles (to find the best tactics). For me it's still the best part (although I also played through II - V).
It will therefore be a 100% purchase...let's see if it's on GoG (very unlikely) or the best gaming platform ever.
I got this cross plat for all consoles and psn and steam. Gog do you want me $$$$$? Put it up so I can buy it here also and support Konami. I want Suikoden III, IV, V, and Tactic. Hell Star Leap also.
