A very funny educational game from my childhood. Personally, I think such a game would be great even today for our youngest. No violence, just pure fun and interesting facts about the world.
I played this game in spanish under the name "La Pantera Rosa en mision peligRosa" (clever pun) and it was really fun, its a simple point & click game, the humor is good, it has musical numbers (also translated to spanish), kinda short but really enjoyable.
So many good gags and puns in this game. I really enjoyed just looking through the encyclopedia as a kid. I think adding this game and other pink panther games would fill an interesting niche in the point and click space.
I got this computer game as a birthday present in 1998(?) and I could never het past London. In 2005, my older brother and I finally managed to beat the game with help from the help file. I think Disney Interactive might own the distribution rights.
It is the first game I get to remember playing with, on a second hand windows 98 computer. I remember how horrible it was when I upgraded to Windows xp and did not have a clue about the patch that make it playable. I remember spending hours and hours trying different compatibility settings... I saw it in juegoviejo webpage but it would be cool to have the chance to purchase it.
I had so much fun playing this from my childhood. I would instantly buy it if it were to be added. It's games like this that made me fall in love with the point-and-click adventure genre. It was quite funny in parts as well.
Those games also need your vote!
The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past
The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the PastThe Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past is a top-down action game with puzzle-solving elements similar to the original The Legend of Zelda. After the side-scrolling and RPG-like gameplay of Zelda II: The Adventure of Link, the game is a return to the top-down view and gameplay style of the first installment. It introduces major new items to the series such as the Master Sword and the concept of two different worlds, which was revisited to some extent in Ocarina of Time with two distinct time periods rather than dark and light worlds.
