Playing this as a kid was always a thrill. I never got the chance to play Oregon trail back in the day but I had the Yukon Trail! I spent time playing this with my brother as you pick who you want to go on the trip with you, pack your bags, and set off! Normally we would get stuck in the first town and lose our money to the guy hiding a ball under the cup. Getting to the Yukon for the gold rush seemed impossible but I would love to give it another try! I'm older now and therefore (probably) wiser!
As a 12 year old, my teacher let me bring this to class in Grade 6 and we all played through it as a class. I'd love to do this with my own students now that I'm a teacher teaching the same age group. I think it still has a lot of educational value and we can kinda laugh at the retro graphics and voice acting.

Fable: The Lost ChaptersFable was expanded and rereleased as Fable: The Lost Chapters for Xbox and Windows PC platforms in September 2005. The game was later ported to Mac OS X by Robosoft Technologies and published by Feral Interactive on 31 March 2008.
The Lost Chapters features all the content found in the original Fable, as well as additional new content such as new monsters, weapons, alignment based spells, items, armour, towns, buildings, and expressions, as well as the ability to give children objects. The story receives further augmentation in the form of nine new areas and sixteen additional quests. Characters such as Briar Rose and Scythe, who played only minor roles in the original game, are now given more importance and are included in certain main and side quests. Other character-based augmentations include the voice of the antagonist, Jack of Blades, sounding deeper, harsher and more demonic, and the ability to uncover (and resolve) the murder mystery of Lady Grey's sister.
