TimeSplitters 2 is a true childhood memory, even if it's only for ages 16 and up :D I really loved running through the levels and fighting each other on the GameCube. Unfortunately my disc was destroyed when I moved, otherwise I would still have it today. A GOG copy would also be very good to have. ^^

This game was my GoldenEye 64. It's the same idea except with an insane cast of characters, modes, and a wild setting. Super under appreciated game and I'd love to see it preserved in history with the whole series.
Played this a lot with my brother and neighbor as a kid and I still think this a fun game to play with people. This was recently re-released on PSN and I bought it there but I would love even more to play this officialy on PC.

As a PS2 owner, I had THIS instead of Halo...and I felt like I came out ahead. Damn, this series only got better every installment. Amazing levels, music, and the gunplay put together by the Goldeneye/Perfect Dark crew. I was glad to see this series be perserved on PS5 via its PS2 ports. However, I can't help thinking how great this game would be on PC. It's even sort of already been done, with the Timesplitters 2 port found inside Homefront Revolution, which people discovered the WHOLE game was there! I know this franchise is unfortunately in the hands of one of the most incompetent publishing houses that just likes sitting on IPs, but dude, the work is already done for you!

Not long ago my best friend and I played it, through the PS2 emulation of this game. My friend didn't know about it so i told him how cool is was, and in fact he enjoyed every second of it, except for Robot Factory wich was an absoluted nigthmare. The biggest Sin of this franchise is NONE of the three games recieve a PC port, but now this could be a solid comeback and the GREATEST gift for any of the TS community to play this game again. Time to Splitt!!!
i played this game so much in my childhood and with my parents i also i remember you could make your own multiplayer levels on it and everything i had this before i had halo and my favorite part of it was the different time periods and just how much you could unlock and do in the game. i also played. i wouldd love to see it get a pc release along with the other two in the series.

I loved playing this with my kids! We had it on the Xbox, and once the CD drive went out we weren't able to play it anymore. I always waited for 360 to bring it back, but it never happened. I'd love to be able to play it on PC because we seriously lack good local play multiplayer games today. Something you can play split screen with your family, or shoot your siblings with a heat seeking rocket would be great!
One of the biggest grinds I've ever had to do in order to get more multiplayer characters to become available. Graphics were clean and gameplay was fast paced. Story is interesting enough. This and Timesplitters Future Perfect were the greatest shooters I've ever experienced. Customizable multiplayer maps.
TimeSplitters always has lots of fun characters to play as. Compared to its sequel Future Perfect, the bots in this game's multiplayer seem to be smarter and more effecient (as well as do things the player can't like slide). Different gameplay compared to Future Perfect (2 plays more like Goldeneye/Perfect Dark, while Future Perfect feels more like Halo). Multiplayer even has 3 options to change the speed of gameplay; Chilled, Mild, and Frantic. If this game got a PC port to have mod tools and online play, I'm sure it would be a welcomed classic.

Resident Evil Code: Veronica
Resident Evil Code: VeronicaResident Evil Code: Veronica is the fourth video game in Capcom's Resident Evil survival horror series. The game continues the survival horror gameplay of its predecessors: the protagonist explores the surroundings, fighting monsters and solving puzzles. However, it is the first game in the series to do away with pre-rendered backgrounds using a fully polygonal 3D engine instead, which allows for features such as real-time lighting and camera movement. Still, such movements are only used sparingly, and the use of perspective is mostly unchanged from earlier installments: the camera automatically switches to different static angles showing protagonists, monsters and rooms from different spooky viewpoints.

Mercenaries 2: World in Flames
Mercenaries 2: World in FlamesMercenaries 2: World in Flames is an explosive open-world action game set in a massive, highly reactive, war-torn world. A power-hungry tyrant messes with Venezuela's oil supply, sparking an invasion that turns the country into a warzone. But for you, international crisis is all upside: You are a mercenary, and you profit from chaos. Mercenaries 2 features a slew of potential clients, all willing to pay you to do their dirty work. Dirty deeds, done for exorbitant fees. These are world powers with deep pockets, deep grudges, and enough arms and ammo to start World War III. This is your kind of environment. Mercenaries 2 features the latest and most dangerous in civilian and military tech, everything from shiny new sports cars, to the future-tech satellite-guided bunker-busting mini-nuke. Tanks, APCs, boats, luxury automobiles - you name it, you can have it delivered to you in real time. And if you run out of cash you can always 'acquire' the gear you need in the field. If you see it, you can buy it, steal it, or blow the living crap out of it. Play your own way, or play with the help of a friend in the new cooperative multiplayer mode. You are not a soldier. You don't have to play by anyone's rules. You have your own code: you will fulfill the terms of the contract, no matter what. Not everyone in the world of Mercenaries is as honorable. Everyone will try and screw you, given the chance. They think they can get away with it, because they don't know rule #1: EVERYBODY PAYS.

Freelancer
FreelancerEight hundred years prior to the start of our story, bitter conflict divided all of mankind. A handful of colonists struck out on their own to begin anew - far away from the Earth and its turmoil. Several ships were launched with enough equipment and supplies to give the hundreds onboard a fighting chance - but since the area around far-off Sirius had never been surveyed, no one really knew what to expect. What they found was a new frontier of free-flowing natural resources, unexplored territories, great wonders and lurking dangers. Each ship, representing the clusters of people and their earthly place of origin, settled into different parts of the galaxy pre-selected by their ship-board computer to give them the best chance of survival. Life was hard in the beginning, but over the 800 years the different colonies prospered and expanded their territories, claiming more and more systems for their own. Survival and propagation eventually led to growth and profit as each of the colonies developed specialties and fostered commerce. As the colonies grew and time passed their connections with their roots on Earth dwindled and they lost their memories of the conflicts of the past. Soon their attention was dominated by new, more immediate conflicts. Feelings of lost ancestral connection spurred anachronism in the look of the great cities, and created a somewhat distorted image of each colony's cultural heritage. In the ever-expanding outer edge of the territories, frontier lawlessness prevailed. The Houses: Each shipboard colony that left Earth carried some memory of its origins in its name. The Liberty carried Americans, The Bretonia flew from The United Kingdom and surrounding territory, The Kusari from Asia, and the Rheinland launched with Germanic cargo. As each ship settled and colonies began to expand, they knew little about each other and their advancing development. Finally, little by little, the individual colonies found each other and began to set up trade routes to link their systems for commerce and solidarity. Today, with each colony firmly rooted in its respective corner of the galaxy, the colonies rely heavily on each other for trade and industry but also compete for resources and new territories in the Border Worlds. The colonies mandate member governments in "The New Alliance" within the Sirius sector. To control conflicts, each colony has forged alliances and treaties with others as they have grown. Competition remains fierce, however. Struggles rage for supremacy in business, commerce, resources, power and control. There can be tenuous peace between colonies' political agendas, but the grabs for holdings constantly unsettle the volatile frontier.

Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles
Resident Evil: The Umbrella ChroniclesResident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles is the first natively developed for the Wii console. Unlike the other games focused on free exploration, this title is an on-rails shooting game with fixed movement and perspectives. While playing, the camera floats to different areas and players shoot enemies on the screen, picking up ammo, weapons and health kits in the progress. In some situations, the controller can also be used as a melee weapon or in timed sequences. Some levels feature multiple paths and there are regular checkpoints. At the end of a level, the player's performance is awarded by stars, which can be exchanged for weapon upgrades. The game supports the Wii Zapper and features cooperative gameplay for up to two players.

Nuclear Strike
Nuclear StrikeNuclear Strike is a shooter video game developed and published by Electronic Arts for the PlayStation in 1997. The game is the sequel to Soviet Strike and the fifth instalment in the Strike series, which began with Desert Strike on the Sega Genesis. The Soviet Strike development team also created Nuclear Strike. EA released a PC port the same year; THQ developed and in 1999 published a Nintendo 64 version called Nuclear Strike 64. Nuclear Strike is a helicopter-based game, with strategy elements added to the action gameplay. The plot concerns an elite special force - the player's allies - pursuing a nuclear-armed rogue spy through a fictionalised Asian setting. It retained the earlier game's engine but added several modifications to improve graphical performance and make the game more accessible. The game features 15 playable vehicles, a large increase from previous games. In addition to the main fictionalised Apache, there are secondary helicopters, jets, armour and a hovercraft. The player also commands ground troops in occasional real-time strategy sections. The game received positive, negative and mixed reviews. Critics noted a weak storyline, though GameSpot dismissed this is as unimportant in an action game. GameSpot called the graphics - which made use of specialised hardware such as 3Dfx Voodoo video cards and the N64 Expansion Pak - "about as good as it gets", while Allgame said they are "decent" and Daily Radar called them "horrible". Critics praised the full motion video as well as the music and sound effects. Reviewers enjoyed the straightforward gameplay but several complained of a close similarity to its predecessor Soviet Strike and questioned the game's value as a result.
