UT 2004 is a fixed part of every LAN we play. I really hard tried to get UT 3 but you can not buy it anywhere. An otherthing is of course that you need to buy it with DRM free to be able to use it in Germany...

Unreal Tournament 3 wasn't just a game; it was a cornerstone of my family's shared experiences. Years before the current wave of battle royale and hero shooters, UT3 stood as a testament to innovative gameplay and a powerful engine that felt lightyears ahead of its contemporaries. My brothers and I spent countless hours battling it out. It wasn't just about the competition, though; it was about connection. UT3 provided a shared space where we could laugh, strategize, and bond as a family. The game's mechanics were revolutionary for their time. The fast-paced action, the diverse weaponry, and the sheer fluidity of movement made every match a thrilling experience. It was a true "OG shooter," setting the stage for many of the popular titles we see today. The level design was equally impressive, offering a variety of maps that encouraged both strategic play and chaotic fun. Whether we were dominating in a team deathmatch or trying to outsmart each other in capture the flag, UT3 always delivered. But beyond the technical prowess, it was the shared experience that truly made UT3 special. It brought my family closer, providing a common ground for laughter, competition, and unforgettable moments. It's a game I'll always cherish, not just for its groundbreaking gameplay, but for the memories it helped forge. If you're looking for a classic shooter that's both challenging and incredibly fun, and you want a game that can bring people together, look no further than Unreal Tournament 3. I encourage you to vote for it, you won't regret it!
I played this game not long after its release, the single player was fun. However couldn't really get into the multiplayer as my connection during that time was extremely naff. So people were always fragging my avatar, with no way of stopping it due their faster connection speed. This was while using the PhysX system present in the game with a BFG PhysX card, which used the AGEIA PhysX processor. Having this game on GOG would enable more people to enjoy this game, as well as get into modifying it. Fortunately the game was developed during the Windows Vista era, so it may be used to some of the security technologies in Windows. It's also running a DirectX 9.0 based game engine. This game's physics system in the engine was second to none for games at the time due to its use of PhysX. If you had a compatible card and processor which used this it would take the physics load off the, CPU and GPU. If the game could be brought back as DRM-Free and preserved for the future it would be great. People would have lots of fun in fast and frenetic matches, it would also help to introduce new people into its modding community. So GOG please preserve this game for future generations to be able to enjoy this under appreciated marvel.
Those games also need your vote!

Aliens
AliensAliens is an arcade game based loosely on the 1986 movie Aliens. You and a friend play female Marines and you must explore and destroy all aliens who have taken over a now abandoned space settlement LV426 Acheron. If you can find any survivors try to rescue them. As well as your normal gun there are other weapons that can be used to help you. A Caterpillar P-5000 can also be found and used. Aliens is mainly a side view horizontal shooter where the screen scrolls as you move from left to right. Some parts of the game require you to look behind the hero firing into the screen as aliens come towards from the distance as well as moving in other directions like in a lift. You can also be driving into the screen trying to shoot aliens.

MechWarrior 2: 31st Century Combat
MechWarrior 2: 31st Century CombatYou are the genetically engineered Clan Mechwarrior. The Clans are invading the Inner Sphere. Join either the Wolf Clan or the Jade Falcon Clan as they pursue their own agenda against the Inner Sphere and other Clans. Take your advanced Omnimechs into battle against all comers. Win high warrior ratings (by using less mechs or smaller mechs than needed, completing secondary objectives, etc.) and you'll get chance at a promotion trial where you face superior odds in an arena. If you win, you advance in rank. If you are very successfully, you can make it all the way up to Khan, leader of the Clan! Mechwarrior II was developed in-house by Activision as the successor to their original Mechwarrior. While this time there are no dynamic campaign and mercenary actions, the Clan culture is integrated into the two campaigns. Different clans have different mechs and different rules, even different weapons. You can customize your mechs in order to use less than the "par" force in order to get a higher rating. The full 3D environment wasn't pretty as this was before the 3D accelerators made their debut, but it's still better than anything that came before. Let addition of NetMech allowed users to fight each other online. When 3D cards came along, special versions were created to take advantage of 3D texturing. While not QUITE as replayable as Mechwarrior, it's nonetheless a classic. If you want them now, get the Titanium Edition, which is 3D accelerated.

Aliens: The Computer Game
Aliens: The Computer GameAliens: The Computer Game is a 1986 video game developed and published by Activision for the Commodore 64, Apple II based on the film of the same title. As Activision's UK subsidiary Electric Dreams Software had independently released their own version of the game with the same title, the game was renamed for European release. Initially planned to be released as Aliens: The Second Part, it was finally published under the title Aliens: US Version with ports for the Amstrad CPC and ZX Spectrum produced by Mr Micro. Aliens is a series of six minigames strung together via graphical interactive sequences, akin to an adventure game, though the only interaction possible is advancing the dialog, displayed in speech balloons. The minigames are mostly action sequences that involve piloting a ship from Sulaco to the planet's surface, recognizing equipment, and fighting aliens.
