Bioshock mixed with a roadtrip to the Canadian Rockies. I like meaty walking simulator like this one. It also mixes gameplay focus from time to time, so it never boring. Sometime it is combat time, other time it is a bit scary and then it gets exhilarating. Love it.

There is nothing like the legs you use in this game. Half the time I was leaping and running with a delighted smile from ear to ear! It is some of the most fun action I've had in a game for a long time. Add in a little combat, beautiful views, a mystery, and a few puzzles and you have a game that is not soon forgotten.
Those games also need your vote!
American McGee's Alice

As time progresses Alice loses touch with reality. She is institutionalized in Rutledge Asylum, where she is observed and treated by Dr. Heironymous Wilson. Alice's only possession in Rutledge is a stuffed rabbit. Ten years after Alice was committed to Rutledge, she finds herself sucked back into a Wonderland that has been twisted by her own broken mind. The White Rabbit summons Alice to aid a radically altered Wonderland, which became a twisted version of itself as it came under the horrible rule of the Queen of Hearts. The Cheshire Cat serves as Alice's companion throughout the game, frequently appearing to guide her with cryptic comments.

Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams
Onimusha: Dawn of DreamsOnimusha: Dawn of Dreams is the sixth installment of Capcom's Onimusha overall series, while being the fourth game in the canonical main series. While game retains the action elements from previous Onimusha, it offers a more varied amount of weapons as well as the option of going back to previous stage to unlock new content. The game also introduces a 3D camera as well as the ability to continuously fight alongside AI controlled characters who move depending on the player's orders. Dawn of Dreams was announced by Capcom due to high fan demand and several Capcom members realizing they could expand the action elements from Onimusha after working in Shadow of Rome. The game was designed in order to appeal to skilled gamers rather than the general market which resulted in appealing designs rather than realistic.

Onimusha 3: Demon Siege
Onimusha 3: Demon SiegeOnimusha 3 is the third game of the Onimusha series. The game retains elements from previous games in the franchise including the use of multiple special weapons in order to fight enemies and absorb their energy to enhance the weaponry. This time the player primarily controls both Samanosuke and Jacques in separate scenarios. The two are able to exchange items in order to solve puzzles. The development from this game started after the release of the PlayStation 2 which allowed the team to work on a 3D engine to design 3D backgrounds. In order to appeal to the Western market, the team set this game in Paris and chose French actor Jean Reno to portray Jacques. Onimusha 3 has been generally well received by publications for video games. Most of the writer's praise focused on the improved controls and the use of a 3D engine that allowed better combat and visuals, respectively. The game also generated good sales with over 1.5 million copies sold as of May 2008.
