Story:Although it is essentially a remake of the original PlayStation version of Wild Arms, Alter Code F brings enhanced gameplay, improved graphics, and an expanded storyline to the PS2. Players take command of three unlikely companions in a surreal and desolate world called Filgaia. The young orphan Rudy has a unique ability to physically bond with "ARMs," or "Ancient Relic Machines," which seem to have been left behind by a forgotten civilization. The runaway princess Cecelia can command forces of magic, and the swordsman Jack is adept at a number of trades. These three "Dream Chasers" seek their fortunes in the unforgiving countryside, and might just end up saving the whole world along the way. The role-playing adventure includes overworld exploration and intense dungeon-crawling. Wild ARMs: Alter Code F is compatible with the PlayStation 2 HDD, so veteran PS2 gamers with older model consoles and the hard drive accessory can load the large, two-DVD game program to disk in order to decrease load times.Show more
I was shocked to hear a remake of the original WIld Arms was being made by Atlus ... a developer of whom I make it a point to buy their games. That alone makes it unforgettable.
This was no different. It took what made the original Wild Arms (a single player game) great and added 3 extra characters to make it even better.
All kinds of extras like dungeons and difficult fights.
It was made by Atlus. That alone is a reason for it to be on EVERY store.
ive played the others Wild arms games. but i never got the chanse to play the first one. And always wanted to play the game. I own playstation 2 and many other games.
Either the original or the remake, both need to be on here!! I've had fond memories of this game when I was both a kid and older with Alter Code F>
With no other areas to play this except for emulators, having this official way would be amazing!
