The new Oct 13 patch cannot update, failure code E9, so far i've tried everything i know.(restart GOG,restart PC, change host, firewall, tried another PC)

Anyone encounter same issue? Any ideas?

ps: I've played for 3days, last couple updates were fine.

Solved: verify/repair if anyone got same issue

Where the download bar is, have you tried clicking "retry"? My download stops from time to time, and this usually gets the download going again.

Retry never works for me when I get that problem. But verify/repair usually does the trick. It's under manage installation. Just had to do it on this patch also.
Yep since larian announced the patch I have had E9. Tried all the standard restarts along with disabling AV nothing changed. I just hit verify and before it started scanning the play button lit and no longer says a download is waiting.

IT WORKS!!!! THANK YOOOOU!!!!
I have auto updates turned off on Galaxy have checked for updates several time and says there are none. When I check configure on the right click menu it says the last update was 4 days ago. Tried verify/repair nothing.

Relaunched Galaxy verify/repair it shows the new update but it fails at 94%

Edit: Verified again and it finally downloaded something? But it still says the most recent version is 4 days ago. Offline installers available match this version.

Double Edit: So on steam it says the patch was reverted back to investigate it breaking saves. So is there one or not?

I tried the verify / repair, but it failed. Everytime it would download a file, not always the same size, and systematically fail at 94%.

After a few times I gave up and reinstalled everything, which is still ongoing and will take hours (especially now that their servers have a lower bandwidth, probably peak time?).

It would be really good that GOG fixed their update system (as well as the patch notes, that are never available for the last version).
