Hey guys,

I've been playing BG for long time now, but one thing is buggering me alot. I lack lots of sounds for both monsters and the most iconic one "Before venturing forth you must gather your party".

From what i heard (or didn't if you get what i mean) i lack sounds for

-Kobolds
-Some wolves (Vampiric one and Enraged Wolf)
-Hobgoblins

list goes on.

Any fix?

1) Are you playing a modded version of the game?

2) Are you using Galaxy?

Have you tried disabling EAX in the sound options?

2)Yeah, tried steam version aswell, same result. Funny enough the sound is normal in BG2EE.

And how do I disable EAX? Looked around my sound table in control panel, and i couldn't find a single thing named like that.

I think he meant unchecking the "Environmental Audio" option in the ingame Sound options.

EDIT: Are you playing the Enhanced Edition? If so, forget what I said.

Make sure the "Voice Volume" option is not set to 0.

Have Galaxy verify your files.

Yeah, I do play on Enhanced Edition.

Tried all above, no changes.

-Set Volume from 50% to 100%, nothing happened.

-Verified Files and no change

-Changed langugage from Polish to English, no effect on both.

-Reinstalled, no changes.

I played original to test, the sound was normal.
