So I lost everything on my boot drive. Made a Windows install USB stick, got it going again, reinstall GoG, it recognized the game on my D drive. All good and dandy. But it won't download my save files... I don't want to have to play all the game again as I'd assume I was a decent way into it. Is there a way to force it to download the prior save files? I didn't want to start a new save, for fear it might overwrite anything on the cloud save. I'm logged into the same account, so I'd think it would just trigger the sync, as it seems to sync when it closes, though there's nothing to sync at the moment.

When it does this to me, I have to open the game, close the game, let it resync, close Galaxy, reboot the PC, and restart Galaxy and fire the game up.

This has only happened once or twice to me and both times this fixed it. Let me know if this helps!

Done several restarts of the system (as I turn the PC off every night). Still won't load the old saves from the cloud. I started a new game, just to force it up to the cloud, see if that would force something down from the cloud. Nothing... Guess I might have to start all over...
The cloud ignores me no matter what I do. It no longer backs up my saves for this game (I haven't tried others) even though I have the option to do so selected. If not for achievement tracking GOG Galaxy would be bloatware at this point.

Weird. I'm assuming you already force verified the game. Wish I could be of more help : /
