As written on title i have a brightness issue with the game, i can't see anything because the Cybersun decided so.

I attached an image (i would do more if i could but the forum format don't allow it), and here are all the info i have :
- Game is up to date (2.21)
- Driver version 572.83 laptop RTX 4060 (120w)
- I have a collection installed via Vortex it's called "Perfect city" and it's the 2.21 version same as the game.
- A second collection witch is only a translation of Perfect city.
- Both collection are viewed as "enabled" in Vortex and don't seem to be the issue.
- I tried to disable instant eye adaption in the collection but nothing changed.
- I tried to install "eye adaptation auto exposure fix" and it made everything so worst i uninstalled it.

If any gentleman could volunteer in helping a french gamer.

This question / problem has been solved by PaladinNOimage
Is this specifically while driving in first person? If so, that is a known issue and has been an issue since forever. No setting or driver version seems to fix this, as it is an issue inherently in the game engine where it just decides that "you are driving towards the sun. For realism, I must now blind you".

I have had that issue since version 1.03, and still have it in patch 2.1. Haven't heard of this issue when driving in third person or walking though.

For attachment, I suggest you just mangle the quality and make it just a couple 100 KBs.

I didn't experiment enough to know where the issue comes from, but i know that I don't have this issues in buildings.
thanks for the attachment suggestion, i'll edit the post
Oh, my...yeah, I can see why you call this an "issue". :O

Never seen this one before. Is it supposed to be foggy in the game at this particular time? If so, there could be a RayTracing or HDR issue going on. And the settings in Cyberpunk 2077 is sadly known for NOT working properly (ref. GamersNexus video), so the recommended way is to do a single change, save, and then restart the game. Try disabling DLSS / HDR / RT as a starter.

In your "Perfect City" mod, is that a mod pack or just a single mod that does something specific? I don't have access to my Nexusmods account on this machine, and "Perfect City" is considered "adult content" for some reason, so I cannot see the content details.

Haven't touched the game in a good while either (hence still on game version 2.1 - too many reported issues on anything later), and still staying on GPU driver 532.17 or something (RTX 3080). Updating the GPU-drivers can introduce issues (like this one), when the system was otherwise running fine before.

Checking your mod versions would be suggestion number one, but do you have an older GPU-driver to roll back to if no game setting change fixes this either?

I tried to lunch the game without the collection and the game look fine, it's safe to assume the issue come from that.
Unfortunately I don't know much about drivers installing i just updated it back in march.
I think there's a way to restore old drivers but i don't how i can do that and if it's going to help.

First thing I noticed was the floating car to the right, but that is just a typical Cyberpunk 2077 crap physics issue. ^^

Still not familiar with the mod pack, but can you choose to install select mods or is it an all-or-nothing type of deal?
From what I have read on Nexusmods regarding Vortex is that it is not recommended to use. It sometimes does not install everything correctly, leading to issues and causing everything from broken mods to a crashing game.

I have always installed my mods manually, though with the added hassle.
Though pretty much the only mod I currently use is CyberEngineTweaks. And a character editor, if I feel like giving myself an 1-shot kill, 200 round smartgun. ^^

But there is no need to do anything with the drivers if the issue is otherwise resolved.
Messing with the drivers to solve a particular issue can be a rabbit hole on its own sometimes...

Have you played the game before? I see you are right at the first mission. :)

So first of, I have find and solved the issue and will explain it.
The mod causing that was "Blind Begone" which i find ironic.
I just disabled it on Vortex and now everything works fine.

It's my first playthrough, and I have avoided most of the spoilers. I'm so exited to start this voyage.
I will select you previous respond as the solution because I can't find a way to do it with my own comment.

Excellent. Always nice to find the solution to an issue. :)
Searching "Blind Begone" at Nexusmods showed that mod was related to that first person driving issue I mentioned in my first post. And there doesn't seem to be a fix for that, sadly. Pity, since driving in firstperson can be really fun at times, especially in the more open parts of the map.

I won't spoil too much, but I have a couple notes for you if this is your first playthrough:
- Look up CyberEngineTweaks on Nexusmods. If you want something that exists ingame, such as a weapon you later discover you have missed, that is the mod to get. It is bascially just an advanced developer console.
Like, if you find your first car underwhelming, let me know - I can give you the CET-code for something better.

For weapons, I got some CET teleport coordinates here:
https://www.gog.com/forum/cyberpunk_2077/cet_teleport_coordinates_to_openworld_iconics

- When you get to Konpeki Plaza, and it is time to leave (...you'll know when, when the time comes), don't rush. Go up the stairs and to the roof. There is something there that at least I am personally a big fan of. You cannot return there later, so it will be your only chance to get it.

Other than that, enjoy Night City!
