So I just started again and it seems that some NPCs wear clothes that are constantly glitching out. Meaning they stretch into infinity and beyond. It just looks weird. For reference, there is a steam discussion thread where you can find pictures of the problem. Any known fixes for that?

So by reinstalling the GPU drivers I seemingly fixed 2 NPCs. There is one with a "military" Jacket with just a Bra underneath. She has something equipped which stretches into infinity.

I also saw that this glitch was happening in 2021 but I could not find a solution there either.
Reinstalled game (Clean Install)
Reinstalled GPU driver
Switched graphic modes
turned graphic down

I am now at a loss. Any help ?

GPU is 4080 drivers are up to date.

I think/hope this is a known issue because it happens to me. It happens to my brother too. It tends to come and go though. I tried starting a new game to see and it even happened in a new game. But again, it comes and goes. Seems like some kind of a physics bug. Also, I have the latest drivers available for my card.

It has to be. I was wrong. The NPCs are still glitching. The most prominent one is the waiter in Lizzys club whose foot is stretched and there is a "band" between the feet. I can't even imagine how this got through testing?

I tried to roll back to an earlier Nividia Driver to no avail. Reinstalling the game again ( Clean) Did nothing. So I guess since it is happening to other people, this is a bug. I opened a ticket.

Edit: Still no answer from support.

There are definitely 3 glitched models for me (using mods now, AMM switches the NPC modesls). A lady with a military style jacket, a lady with a skirt and the waitress in Lizzys. Will keep a lookout for more.

Just adding to this: If you are on PC:

Use AMM (Appearence Menu Mod) from the nexus. It lets you blacklist outfits for NPCs which will then NEVER spawn. If they ever come around to fix that mess, you can clear the blacklisted outfit file again. It just made my game playable
