What if my steam profile wasnt set to public before i connected to gog connect ??!
Will the promo be only for the next days and thats it ?
Does gog connect update the steam profile avatar on their page ? Or it has delays..

Many people were unable to get their games transferred with a private profile. If GOG connect finds no games and you do have some that are on the list, try again after setting it to public.

The current list of games will be available only for a few days, but GOG said that more games will appear later on (and possibly some of the same games again). At the moment it looks like every set of games will be available for transfer for a limited amount of time (exactly like a promo).

Not sure what you're asking. GOG Connect only transfers games, not avatars.

I tried this. And it made no difference. Still detects nothing. It was not clear that you had to check the privacy setting before connection or it would be too late. I guess I'll do without it. It's not a big deal it just seems like a stupid limitation.
Or maybe it will suddenly work tomorrow...

I don't have first-hand experience (I don't have a steam account), but it does seem that some people got lucky after several attempts. No harm trying again once a day.

It worked now, after leaving it alone since previous post, so I guess patience is a virtue! :)
