Sorry GoG, but the BoaCompra is the worst service I ever seen. Lots of bugs on transactions, wrong charges, they fill SMS and email with advertisement (even when the transaction fail). It's part of UOL Payment System and we already have tons of issues with it. It is "so good" that the credit card and PayPal decline it instantly.

Why not let us pay with PayPal directly?

No, just the same one, still as useless as it was before. I used BoaCompra once. Since that day I'd rather pay a bit more in conversion fees than suffer their moronic support.

Anyway, you can avoid them if you change your payment to dollars. Click "USD" in the Currency option in the page footer. I only used it to pay through my international Visa/MC/Amex cards, but I believe Paypal will work as well.

It won't cost much more this way. There are conversion fees but you don't pay BoaCompra's share so the difference is negligible.

I've been using it for 5 or 6 years and never had any problem (I always pay with boleto service, btw). Without it, I wouldn't even be able to shop here.
