Tomorrow, the 4th of September, marks one year since Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2 released on the PC and, sadly, only on the Epic Store. I admit to have shamefully bought it there (there's a special place in hell for me).

Wondering if it will release here...Doesn't GoG sell old Activision classics? It would be expected for the Tony Hawk series to show up here, really.

A DRM-free release with no always-online requirement would be an instant buy.

Thank you for letting me vent. ;-)

Cheers.
Then it should be showing up on other PC platforms anytime now within the next couple of weeks or so. Not sure if it would show up here or not. That would be up to Activision.

I know how you feel. I wanted to get the Kingdom Hearts on PC but it was only released on EGS and I refuse to purchase anything from there.

Actually, I don't have much of an issue regarding the Epic Launcher as I already had it installed, when I dabbled with the Unreal Engine, way before the advent of the Epic Games Store. My biggest concern is with (mostly) single-player games that come with archaic DRM and the mind-boggling always-online requirement, such is the case of the game in question. Kingdom Hearts is, apparently, another example of this - a game that, as far as I can tell, is single-player only and has that always-online requirement.

Sure, I have internet access pretty much all of the time, but that is not the case for many, many people out there. Probably, I'm an exception. In the end, it is mostly the principle that a legit, paying costumer shouldn't have to be limited by these near-sighted constraints implemented by developers and/or publishers.

Anyway...We shall wait and see.

⏳ So you want a game that has:
1) Licensed characters.
2) Licensed music.
3) Licensed licenses.

Look, THPS is a series built to be a ticking time bomb. And it'd be too much effort removing the exact reasons why everyone play these games.
Wow read my mind. was just looking at that today seeing if it was on any different platforms and their costs... just epic from what i could tell; and too expensive at that with no discount.
Very unlikely, as Activision doesn't bring new releases here. Their latest one is Singularity, from 2010. In addition, Activision likes to make their latest releases exclusive to Battle.net (see Call of Duty series and Crash Bandicoot 4), so if they release the game elsewhere, I'm not expecting it to even come on Steam.
I really hope it will get to Steam soon, but wouldn't be surprised if it stays exclusive to Epic a little while. I mean look at Anno 1800, still available only there (not even counting Uplay xD).
