I followed it up with them here:

Essentially they say that it'll be on humble a few days after launch or maybe simultaneously, and they'd like to get it on gog in the future.
Unfortunately KS fulfillment is via Humble as a poster early said (im a backer as well *sad face*). Good news they hope to get it here at some point. Its quite an awesome game (played the crap out of the early access...). :)
I guess GOG will release it but not on the launch day.
I read sometime ago that there'll be HB exclusive DRM free build. I personally think it won't be coming here for some time. More like Torchlight 2 case.

It's DRM free the same anyway. It's not like DRM free Humble is less superior than GOG's. Unless you're fanboy.

This is not true. Many of Humble's DRM free is a lazy zipped file while GOG uses an installer. Not equal.

That's why I don't purchase anything on Humble. It just feels sloppy. =/

Yeap. DRM-Free on Humble is extremely worse than GOG. It's not just the lazy lack of installers, it's also the not caring about updates, not letting you know about updates and your account management is a mess (just wait till you have more than a handful of games).

And they carry less and less drm-free games. Even for indies that have drm-free versions elsewhere.

At least they added a wishlist not long ago. So maybe they'll improve or other fronts too. Unfortunately going for more drm-free games don't seem to be one of those.

(And in humble you have things like Broforce, shown as drm-free when their drm-free is still the beta. They are not very reliable).

DRM-free versions of a few games are not even up-to-date. Ex. Torchlight 2, Don't Starve, etc.

And of course GOG does not have this problem...

It does, but at least GOG will try to fix the problem. (not saying they'll be able to fix it. Damn you Slender!)

I felt that there was no excuse for not having the up-to-date version for Torchlight 2 given that it was put on humble long long after patches stopped coming in.

we are also planning a GoG release. We should have a version of GD out on the GoG store sometime in March.

Glad it is coming in March great game. Just hope i can switch my steam key to gog but due to me playing a lot of hours on it already doubt that.

That's a relief. I'll hold off until that's out, then.
