I'm still waiting for the return of Colin McRae Rally 2005 and TOCA Race Driver 3 to the GOG catalog.

grid is a bit ...difficult to say the least
expect a lot of swearing and restarting
also if you have two drives make sure you install grid on the second drive
grid employs a 5 gig temp file it uses for replays and flashbacks when you crash
and it wil write to this file at all times
unless you have a monster system or an ssd this will slow your game down to a ridiculous degree
if you dont have a second drive installing grid on a usb stick will work just fine
i tried it and had no problems in playing the game whatsoever
on the same computer that crawled to a halt because of the temp file

carmageddon is garbage
you cant even controll your cars they move around like shopping trollies with 3 manky wheels
its all hype and zero substance

#3 is bullshit. It's an actual racing game where hitting people is more or less just a bonus. If I wanted that I'd play NFS.

Wait, wasn't that supposed to release here at one point? O_o

when compared to the trash that came before it where you control shopping trollies

Something must be wrong with your gamepad. If anything I think controls work too well in that there are really no physics. When you make a hard right you actually make a hard right; the fact that you may be doing 100 MPH in the opposite direction doesn't matter.

...or a manky shopping trolly

and even tried the mouse and keyboard which i dispise for racing games
and the controls are piss poor regardless
i dont get much joy from a racing game when i struggle to turn around a corner
