Assassin's Creed II is free on Uplay right now, until April 17.

You can get it directly from the Uplay client or here is a link if you want to get it from the Ubisoft website. But either way, you will need to use Uplay to access the game:

Grabbed it, did have to create an account but then I remembered I had 6 Ubisoft games from Epic Game Store that needed to be linked so I figured what the hay they are all free.

Thanks for the head's up, I think people say that AC2 is the best of the bunch. I still would buy it here if GOG could get it, from what I see they disabled online anyway.

It is one of the best but had draconian DRM during the early days after release. Basicaly you had to be online 24/7 or the game simply deletes your progress. Not sure if the game even launched without an online connection. Good times and shows that we need it on GOG asap. Cheers

Wasn't it so that Michael AssBender was in the AssCreed movie? I've yet to see that movie, maybe I should.

I now have the first AssBenderCreed game on GOG, and on UPlay I have the second, fourth and some "China Missions" game. The first one on GOG is now the only one I paid money for, the others were freebies at some point of time.

No idea which AssCreed games I am missing, number 3 and something else. I'll never figure out that series, so many games and spin-offs and whatnot.

I now collected Assassin's Creed 2, 3, 4, Unity and China Chronicles free on Uplay.

I'm sure others will pop up free at some point, I got AC: Syndicate free from Epic Store, also got Watchdogs.

I completely forgot that I also have Syndicate on Epic Store, hard to keep track with so many free games and many stores.

It's such a pity that if they're giving them away for free they don't bother selling them on here.

Yeah , and they are totally fine with epic store ...
It is a pain, especially with ubisoft.
