Well, I have some bad news.

Had the developer had any interest to push Axiom Verge here, it would be here.
I guess many people want the game here from what i have heard but i can't shake of the felling that if the dev needs convincing to release here then he probably don't have any commitment long term and would just use it to push out the game then abandon it, hopefully i'm wrong.

Are you certain, kind sir? The developers of Agony Unrated have reached gog THRICE for partnership, yet canceration i mean Curation, turned them down and audaciously threw in our faces, the "it's too niche line". All that while the relative wishlist had more than 600 votes at that time and there are duplicate entries, as well.

Nowadays, developers aren't the first "suspect", whenever a game doesn't make it to gog. Likewise, Celeste was even teased by an official gog trailer some time ago, yet not only it vanished mysteriously never to be heard of again, but radio silence kicked it to finalize the case.

Are you absolutely positive that the developer is the party, who don't wish their stuff sold through gog???

Why, thank you! (Higher) Ups in here have become extremely tight-lips, as of late! Or promise something and "forget" to keep doing it, or even drop a line for those affected (ex renegotiating Fallout extras).

Nice thing that other members at least find stuff and let others know.

Disappointingly I ended up buying AV on the Switch and the controls are kind of screwed up. They have B as confirm and A as cancel in the menus. I reported this problem to them (and it took months to actually get a reply) and their response was along the lines of "It's too hard/not worth fixing".

Oh no, that's exactly the devs i have nightmares about, devs not willing to fix their own games that is or support them on a store they willingly put them on, suffice to say this only strengthens my fears about "convincing" devs.

That's correct. Dan Adelman is the publisher/publicist, Tom Happ is the actual developer.

Yeah, it was pretty disappointing. I have quite strong muscle memory for these things and it really screws me up when going between the system functions (A is confirm) and the game's menus (A is cancel).
Shame it likely won't happen, I wish both would show up for folks.
The game was only OK. Worst part when the dash was introduced: double tap the direction you want to dash... on an analoge stick this was just pain. And it was too far into the game to relearn the controls with the D-pad or keyboard, so I just suffered everytime I was forced to dash.

No remap, I take it? Such as map to R in Mega Man X?
Wasn't the first game free on Epic at some point? Must have been because I have it in my Epic account.

Maybe the sequel will be too. I quickly tried the first game months ago, seemed like a generic platformer with poor "retro-pixel-graphics", not really my cup of tea...
