SirPrimalform: I got the impression that Linko's moderation level and style was reasonably well liked. Not long before he arrived the general discussion board had become alt-right circlejerk central. Linko did a lot to clean that up, including handing out some bans to those who refused to accept that GOG was not happy to provide a platform for them.
Actually, it was during the time fables22 was around that the new moderation rules were put into place. (With the exception of the "no politics rule"; that was added when Linko90 had the position.) Even in fables22's time here, the general discussion board was significantly cleaner, and I believe it was during that time that the "the #[redacted] news thread" was finally closed. Also, both community managers had some missteps when they first appeared. Fables22, for example, initially wouldn't lock topics on the TC's request, and there was also the time she warned tinyE that many users had complained about him. Linko90 originally would delete topics rather than just locking them, which is actually quite disruptive, as doing so still brakes the "Topics I've posted in" section for those that posted in the topic. (Yes, that bug *still* hasn't been fixed, and it's annoying when a topic you've posted in gets unexpectedly deleted. Also, topics can *still* be deleted by the "report as spam" (mis)feature, even those that have been active, so the forum software still leaves something to be desired.)
For the record, both community managers improved after a few days. Linko90 did do a good job moderating the forums, though I think I liked fables22, who would actually respond to reports made over chat, to Linko90. (Linko90 did still delete problematic posts that were deleted.) The Twitter account's post, on the other hand, is another story.
(Side note: When somebody on the forum made an "assume gender" "joke" (the same one that was on the Twitter account, though I don't remember that was the GOG one or the CD Projekt Red one), I did get Linko90 to delete it. Perhaps a rule should be that any content that would be inappropriate on the forum should also be inappropriate for the GOG Twitter account.)
