I added free Brigador Modkit dlc to Brigador on giveaway today and strange thing happened. On one pc when I check offline installers Modkit looks normal (417mb) and on second one its just 1mb and has .sh instead of .exe file extension when downloaded. Any idea why it's like that? Refreshing page doesn't help. I always download installers on pc with faster isp. :)

Files with an .sh extension are for Linux. Try changing your OS selection back to Windows.

this.
Thank you people!!! I didn't even know what a .sh extension was hahaha
I just checked my download log, and sure enough, when I downloaded it earlier, I downloaded the Linux build without noticing. Well, at least it's a small file. XD

...Wait, no it's fucking not. Why is the Linux download for the editor 1.5 MB, but the Windows version is 418 MB?! Is the modkit download under DLC goodies just for use with the Linux version, while the Windows version already includes it?

I had windows version selected anyway but you are right, I switched it to Linux and then back to Windows and now I see proper installer on second pc too, thx. :) Maybe something was wrong in cookies, happens.

However it's strange that Linux has such efficient decompressing abilities to make 417mb out of 1mb. ^^ I guess someone should take a look at it. :P
As far as the dramatically different file sizes are concerned, I expect that the Linux version of the modkit requires the game to be installed and share's the game assets. On the windows side these get duplicated so you end up with two sets of models, textures etc.

That being said, I haven't actually installed the modkits to confirm this.

Just install the modkit from GOG, is the same file only that directly install it on the game!!!!

This game is addictive as hell!

The modkit is only for Windows, so likely GOG's UI can't handle this properly and generates a stub file.

It doesn't do that for Mac though. Select Mac and the downloads section for DLC installers reads, 'Unfortunately, there are no files available for the selected language (English) and operating system (mac) combination.'

Maybe it's different because there is Galaxy for Mac, but not for Linux and it's mirrored accordingly. Or, GOG is just inconsistent. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Maybe there's extra downloads and is done separately for Linux.

Why was the modkit packed as a separate store product instead of being put into the extras section?
