dnovraD: "NGE" "Classic".
Golly, you sure do know how to make someone who most recently watched (most of) the original Mobile Suit Gundam Universal Century turn into a cloud of dust vaguely in the shape of a skeleton. Is this a serious version of that
memetic image, where the oldest game listed is Portal? Is Lupin III (Green Jacket) just a flickering shadow on the wall of a cave?
You're just being grumpy my mate, its semantics. :P
But yeah... what is 'classic' for gen X will not be a 'classic' for gen Z.
Same way, what we nowadays call "Classical Music" are musics composed through a time frame of 700 years, even though this is wrong in a correct definition sense, or, going further, that Bach's compositions were not instantly "Classics" for him or people from that time. It was most probably just "Music".
Once again, we would be arguing about the definition of "Classical" and "Classic", an expression that some use today to define things as "Instant Classic!", without it being, uh, classical or any kind of proof that 1500 years in the future people would even remember said production as "Classic".
Anyway, for the sake of being intellectually honest, though, I will correct myself, then:
"I like the specificities of anime design present in Neon Genesis Evangelion, a classic anime for those that were born in the 80's or 90's, therefore, Miss GOG-Chan having a style which resembles that of those present in the 'animes' of that time, are fairly enjoyable to millenials that enjoy some of the animes of that era."
To be even more fairer,
this design resembles Dragon Ball more than Evangelion, or, even better, Studio Gibbli designs...
...which I also enjoy :D
It seems to me GOG graphics design team enjoy Ghibli a lot too. :)
