Same here. AFAIK, you still can't add covers manually - but I'll just use mp3tag for that.
And CDburnerXP for burning. The portable version... since I rarely burn CD/DVDs these days.

Yes, especially if you want to rip older CDs. The error correction feature of EAC is quite good.
