It’s this time of the year – Warhammer Skulls 2025 is here! For the Emperor!

This time around, we bring a variety of awesome news. So sit back, relax, and see what we prepared!

Apart from all the discounts you can expect on the Warhammer catalog, we decided to do something close to our hearts. The GOG Preservation Program expands once more!
Five Warhammer classics we’ve co-published, and that you won’t find anywhere else, are now preserved in their best form:

MatroxMedik: Hmm im curious/ more interested in Battlesector Campaign DLC, is it coming here, pls? Also that Gladius DLC onslaught pack? Last few days im considering buying Gladius (I mean DLCs I have base game both here and Steam xD whether here or Steam- we dont have achievements here, but whatever, but missing DLC? I hope it gets added next day or so)

tremere110: The Battlesector DLC was confirmed on Discord as having been sent to Gog already. They don't know why it's not available here yet. The Gog store is out of their hands.

Yes, the dlc is actually there but the purchase to unlock it isn't available yet, which is the issue - same with Gladius. Not sure what Gog is doing.

Also something i noticed it too, since i use Nuked SC-55 to replace the windows gs midi, the soundtrack feels off in SOTHR

What I missed in the description of the Definitive Edition for "Dawn of War" is the restoration of the LAN mode. This would be something "definitive".

It also looks like the Definitive Edition is a separate thing. In the worst case the issues with Dark Crusade won't get fixed in the original version and possible bug fixes are locked behind the remastered version. The current version of Dawn of War - Dark Crusade has a broken campaign mode where you have crashes in the Stronghold missions and the "Commander" button causes a crash to desktop. So, here is shadow of the horned rat running on shader glass using one of koko aio's megabezel presets, due to the game's forced widescreen and non scaleable windowed mode, it has problems but this screenshot is just to demonstrate.
if GoG team manages to make this SOTHR run in higher res while keeping aspect ratio and also making the WinG GDI calls be translated to directX, on which peixoto and others did for another winG game that is HOMM 1-2-3, it will do wonders for this game.

There's a nice discount for Space Marine in newsletter, but I guess no point in buying it now since original will be included with a remaster. I already played it, so it would be mostly for collection anyway.

Now I wonder if DoW 2 is next in line...

IIRC, Rites of War was offered as a giveaway a few years ago. Felt so sorry for having missed it back in the day!
Haven't seen GOG repeat giveaways so far. But needless to say, it is always satisfying to complete your collection!
I am a huge Chaos Gate fan (although did not finish it 20 years ago) and the soundtrack still moves me!

P.S.: Fire Warrior was never considered a "janky game" by the gaming press, but yes it was far from stellar.
