yeah, ants . Those little creepers tend to like natural orifices..
I just responded to a Cinemaware post in the Rocket Ranger release thread asking for a comment about how this Anthology release on Steam will affect future GOG releases and whether the Anthology will come to GOG. They're usually pretty good in responding to direct replies, so hopefully we'll have an answer soon...

yyahoo: And makes the GOG releases a ripoff... :/
Yeah :( Just noticed this bundle cause it pop out in my discovery queue. Normally I would ignore this as classics on Steam tend to be just thrown there and not always working, but with this it is probably different,
Putting aside the Steam anthology pricing that we're missing out on, if these titles were ready to go, why weren't they released here sooner? Was Cinemaware holding back releases or was it GOG dragging its feet for whatever reason?

No, it's the study of a region of Turkey.

Barry_Woodward: So, do we think Cinemaware was holding back titles from GOG or was GOG dragging their feet on releases?
Personally, I think Steam wouldn't allow single game releases of their titles and forced them into a compilation release. How that will affect GOG releases moving forward, I don't know. I didn't have any doubt that Cinemaware was holding back games to release slowly, so I don't care about that. I think Steam forced their hand and now they have to figure out how to handle GOG. It would be bothersome to me if they continued forward releasing each game on GOG for $6 a pop.

Steam really don't care either way. You may as well speculate that it is gOg who forces Cinemaware to drip-feed one-by-one title to milk as much monies as possible out of us.

Steam doesn't dictate releases at all? Okay, bad assumption on my part... If that's true then Cinemaware has a lot to answer for around here...
Hopefully this anthology release doesn't strain Cinemaware's relationship with GOG. I'm still waiting for IT CAME FROM THE DESERT and ANTHEADS.
Bundling has indeed become less and less common on GOG. I'm pretty sure games like M.A.X. and M.A.X. 2, the Lands of Lore and Master of Orion series would be separate games if released today.

Look at all those Apogee shareware platformers released separately, ugh. They bundled the Hugo Trilogy, but even that is a mediocre deal at best, so they hardly had any choice.

Impaler26: Those are games. :P

And One Must Fall 2097 was released in 1994 so it's no wonder that it's not included in this pack. ;)

Antimateria: That is what I was saying whacky wheels was another but you know, they own it
One Must Fall was published by Epic Megagames (now just Epic Games), and Wacky Wheels was published by Apogee Software (now 3D Realms). Neither of the two had anything to do with Cinemaware.
With Defender Of The Crown, Wings! and Rocket Ranger already available here as separate releases, how should the releases proceed going forward?
