DUSK reintroduces you to a world where butchery and bloodshed must be mastered... if you're to survive 'til dawn. Inspired by Doom, Quake, Blood, Heretic, Hexen, Half-Life, Redneck Rampage and all your '90s favorites, while featuring a soundtrack by metal music mastermind Andrew Hulshult.

Battle through an onslaught of mystical backwater cultists, possessed militants & even darker forces as you attempt to discover just what lurks beneath the Earth in this retro FPS inspired by the '90s legends.

finkleroy: In that video, Dave confirmed that both DUSK and AMID EVIL will be coming to GOG and GOG Connect, as well as DUSK multiplayer crossplay with Steam, co-op, a new game plus mode that extends the story, a full SDK for making user levels and mods, and both games will be coming to the Switch, Xbone and PS4! Can you talk about the "conversion" process from Steam to GOG, or are you under NDA? I'm curious to know your thoughts from the experience, on what GOG can do to make things easier for devs to bring their games here, but I understand if that's not really appropriate to talk about "in public" right now. I assume you'll at least pass along feedback to GOG. I also assume multiplayer and crossplay are the most complex parts; maybe one day GOG's code can mimic Steam's to the point where you just have to ctrl-f and replace a few key words and boom, Steam-to-Galaxy multiplayer ;)

jefequeso: Yeah the main complication right now is the networking. I'm not actually working directly on that right now (Scott, the Duskworld guy, is) so I can't really speak to specific difficulties. Other than that as far as I know the transition has been pretty easy, and GOG have been very pleasent to work with.

You can see David's (jefequeso) posts in the thread. It's mostly getting multiplayer crossplay working for GOG since it currently only makes use of Steam's matchmaking features.

ANybody else think GOG should release it now single player, and add multiplayer when get the problems worked out?
This might be another Gold Rush HD..announced for over three years ago and still not here....
