DUSK is coming soon DRM-free.

DUSK reintroduces you to a world where butchery and bloodshed must be mastered... if you're to survive 'til dawn. Inspired by Doom, Quake, Blood, Heretic, Hexen, Half-Life, Redneck Rampage and all your '90s favorites, while featuring a soundtrack by metal music mastermind Andrew Hulshult.

Battle through an onslaught of mystical backwater cultists, possessed militants & even darker forces as you attempt to discover just what lurks beneath the Earth in this retro FPS inspired by the '90s legends.

Mr.Mumbles: I hope we'll see it releasing before this year's end. Of all the retro-styled shooters this is the one that has me most excited.
It's due out in the second quarter of this year, so anytime in April, May or June. It's already been delayed once, so there's a good chance it'll be out before July.

I was holding out from Steam, hoping to see it come to GOG. Hopefully one of the goodies will be that awesome soundtrack.

Glad to see this renaissance of old school shooters cropping up. Hopefully we can also get on GOG Wrath Aeon of Ruin, Prodeus, Gibhard, and Bunker Punks. These kinds of game seem like a natural fit for GOG - like Dusk, they are clearly labours of love by people who are huge fans of good old games.

It's not included in the Steam purchase, so it doesn't really make sense to include it for free in the GOG version. The Steam version does come with a bunch of extra stuff though, which will most likely also be included with the GOG version. ( Concept art, early game versions etc. )

borsook: Whether you mean Doom 2 or DIablo 2, tonnes of people play both, Doom 2 looks and plays great with modern wrappers.

I think it has to be changed as 4 would clash with GOG's licence...

yup , but people are people and sometimes even smart people do stupid things, like when 18 year old me to told a cop to "fuck off back to the farm pig" 18 year old me learned a lesson that day.
