Tokyo Clanpool is a dungeon RPG – and it’s coming soon on GOG!

In near future Tokyo, the government has collapsed following the appearance of a mighty tower extending from the mysterious Reverse City in the sky and connecting with the National Diet Building. Monsters threaten the people of Japan, and it’s up to newly inaugurated Prime Minister Natsume Kannuki to lead her Diet Dolls into battle against them.

Wishlist it now!
cant wait, seems very tame, really weird that Steam didn't allow it to launch in their platform

DSHLK: I'm not actually sure whether I've...ever played a 'dungeon' game? Though I'm sure I have, might even be curious to try this out. Not sure why Steam would even bother removing this, seems like their 'its up to the person who it is placed in front of to decide if they will allow it on Steam on not' thing really is the case.

At least having it a semi-exclusive on GOG is a win!
There;s a few other games on GOG that would fit in this genre.

For Japanese-developed games:
* Elmimage Gothic (cheap and a lot of content, sometimes quite difficult) and unforgiving\
* Wizardry: Labyrinth of Lost Souls (maybe one of the weaker entries)
* Mary Skelter 1 and 2
* Saviors of Sapphire Wings (a gentle intro to the genre (though a tad expensive for an intro); comes with the more complex and challenging Stranger of Sword City Revisited

If you don't restrict it to Japan-developed games, we can add
* Bard's Tale Trilogy (remaster of a classic computer game series)
* Wizardry: Proving Grounds of the Mad Overlord (remake of one of the earliest CRPGs)

There's also some other games that are first-person grid-based, but which I think are a bit different in style, like Might & Magic 1-5, Dragon Wars, Eye of the Beholder series (and Dungeon Hack), Anvil of Dawn, Lands of Lore, Wizardry 6 and 7, Legend of Grimrock 1 and 2.
