So, I read this article about "This game is made out of suffering" on Polygon.

It is a story about brothers who own a developer studio called Butterscotch Shenanigans. They were mostly developed mobile games. And then one day, one of the brothers diagnosed to have cancer. In the process they made a decision to make a totally different game from they made before (not endless runner-type of game).

And they made Crashlands. They labeled it as Action-Crafting RPG. But from the trailer it is similar to Don't Starve in term of camera view. And of course many elements of foraging, gathering, building and crafting like in Terraria or Minecraft. But it seems they are more focusing on action (battle) and crafting. In the trailer we can see that we can defeat the enemies and make their bodies part to be crafted into equipment (weapons & armors) just like in Monster Hunter series. They also mention about "Infinite Inventory Manage it self" -which I think player won't be bothered in managing inventory like in other survival-crafting games.

They aimed to make the game cross-platform between Desktop and Mobile, with their respective price tag are $15 and $5

It is currently in pre-order on Steam, and as always, it would be nice to also have this game on GOG. So if anyone also want this game to be on GOG, I have made a wishlist entry : http://www.gog.com/wishlist/games/crashlands

Feel free to vote.
I was going to say it looks a lot like Quadropus Rampage - one of the few mobile games worth anything - and then I realized it was also developed by them. :P
I should give this a try on mobile. Anyway, voted here. :)

Ah. yes. I wanted to mention examples of game they previously developed. But I personally never played their games before. Well, we can find games they made in this website page.

Thank you for the vote !
Bumping. I wonder if this thread is invisible or something.

Yes, thanks for the wishlist, I will vote there.
Feb 2016: I just got the game on android and it's GREAT, I mean, EXCELLENT GAME DESIGN, fun and colorful artwork, good sounds and music, funny dialogue, BIG story, BIG world (and many hours of content and play, I read from players). I find it extremely IMMERSIVE - I sit down and then suddenly it's four hours later. Just got my own whompit to help fight. Enjoy the local resident folk, too. Not tedious in grinding or crafting or travel - they left all the fun stuff in and took all the grindy and tedious craft stuff out but still challenging. Building is convenient, dying is convenient, teleports everywhere, good map which you can label, and Grandmammy never loved anything but fishin'...Except Burt. And there are two wikis and discussion forums. Well worth buying for both desktop and mobile (game saves are cross-platform) but I won't buy from Steam, hate their easily hackable required client, hate moving steam games to a new hard drive, hate requiring ingame checkin over the internet to Steam in order to play each time, blecch, and they don't even have warranty/refund period. Especially hate their client and checkin requirement, BigBrother.
