And I cannot change the currency back. In my account I can change my location, but there is no drop down option for currency! Same with the bottom of the Store page, where it's shown?

Anyone have any ideas?

Clear/delete ALL cookies in your browser, restart and try again.

According to how it looks - you're UK John hailing from the UK - so Pound sterling should be fine?!

Are you using VPN? Turn it off and log on to GOG from another device, then switch currencies on that device before returning to your standard laptop/phone/tablet.
