The Dynamite spreadsheet is updated.

Most of the new Groupees bundle has appeared before but in diverse bundles so the amount of stuff you already have will vary greatly.
The biggest overlap is with the first Dynamite StoryBundle.

Thanks mad!

Looks like a total of 21 new to bundledom books; the 18 you have down at the bottom and then there was an issue 3 and issues 11&12 up above somewhere if I read it correctly.

$10 for 21 books, including an exclusive; I guess I'm in.
Less repeats would have been nice, but I think in the end I'm going to buy this bundle as well ... *sigh*
The only problem is that I have little idea what I already own.

The trick is whilst there is still a lot that hasn't been on sale I'm sure Dynamite doesn't want to lose everything to bundles - plus each time it goes up it hopefully gets more and more new people into it so in theory repeats are a good thing for the newbies

Sure, for newbies this is a rather brillant Dynamite bundle, I'd say. But they should try to also keep those in the boat that already bought the (or some of the) earlier bundles. Of course that gets more difficult with each new bundle but there should still be enough possibilities to keep the bundles interesting to everyone. And this time I'm really on the fence if they succeeded (although the "coin" is a nice idea) ...

To be fair at $10 for it all they really don't need a huge amount of new things per-bundle to keep oldies interested. Of course oldies will get varied in what they do and don't like so over time they might see some skip a bundle here and there
A new Humble Comic Bundle: "Udderly Gigantic Top Cow Collection":

Those look interesting but I've never heard of any of these comics. Any recommendations from our comics experts here?

Rising Stars Compendium (36 issues, full series) alone is probably worth BTA but the $15 top tier alone is a bit weaker.

There's an epic amount of content buried in some of the listing here - 50 issues of Witchblade (80-130, apparently 80 is a new reader jumping on point) + 25 issues of The Darkness + 29 issues of Artifacts among others. That stuff has a dated fantasy gothic popcorn action vibe and has a sprawling amount of interplay and crossover it can be confusing but I think what's here gives a good basis and this stuff can be fun. Bundle seems to contain the most of the Witchblade/Darkness/Artifacts tangent spin-off (?) Aphrodite IV stuff (missing v1 and Cyber Force crossover).

Freshmen, Genius, Midnight Nation (actually a standalone 305pg graphic novel), Berserker, Sunstone, and Down are complete storylines (Down by Warren Ellis looks like it's making a digital debut).

This is quite a generous bundle with a heaping helping of continuous issues and some newer stuff (Tithe, Postal, Cyber Force Rebirth, IXth Generation).

Thanks for your thoughts, especially on such an appropriately bovine bundle. :)

On this occasion, I can at least be thankful that my comic book backlog won't take anywhere near the amount of time as my game backlog! (Bought...)

A lot of it appears to be the typical Top Cow t&a crap, but there are a few gems. I'd say that Rising Stars and Midnight Nation make the bta tier worth it alone.
Considering I just got into Witchblade Humbles deal is going to save me a small fortune :)
The Top Cow bundle made me decide not to get the Dynamite one. Much better value here and enough reading for a long time. The only question is whether to buy the BTA (there's ton of stuff in the base bundle), but I will probably buy it just because I feel a little ashamed to get so much stuff at the base tier.

I'm not a comic expert by any means, and the only comic here that I read more than introductory issues to was Aphrodite IX Rebirth Vol 1. It had IMO great art but a weak story. I decided not to but Vol 2, but I will probably read it now that I have it.

Edit: I also read Cyberforce #1-#5, which was free for a time and is Cyber Force Rebirth Vol 1 here. I quite enjoyed it. Now's my chance to read Vol 2.

By the way, anyone has an opinion about Grant Morrison's Seven Soldiers of Victory? It's $10 for the two volumes (30 issues) at Comixology right now, and sounds intriguing.

Edit: Well, I bought Seven Soldiers and upgraded to the $15 tier of the Humble bundle. Now let's see when I get to read all this. I had enough backlogged stuff already. For good measure I think I'll also upgrade to the Capcom bundle BTA, just so the games backlog doesn't feel neglected.

Okay, thanks to all your input here I'm now sure I will at least buy the BTA tier of the new Humble Bundle - probably even the highest tier. But that makes me hesitate even more about buying the new Groupees Dynamite bundle ...
