Is anyone else seeing this?
Going through and updating my library now that the 'Blue Dot of Updating' has returned (with a few false positives), and today I've run across a couple of updates games where the offline OSX Installer files are downloading at dial-up modem speeds - ~35-50k/sec, while the Windows installers and Goodies are downloading at the same time at 15-20 MB/sec.
This only affects the OSX installers as best I can tell, and my local connection is fine - I've verified that I've got 350Mb+/sec to my ISP during the downloads in question.
Two games I gave up on downloading the OSX builds for being so slow are: Atom RPG and Semblance.
A couple others were much smaller and took the better part of an hour to download. I forgot which ones they were as I had a ~20 games updated.
I don't know if it is getting redirected to a different hosting server or what? Normally I can get 2 simultaneous downloads going from GoG's servers, both in the 15-22MB/sec range.
I'd be curious to know if this has happened to anyone else. For now, I'll try again later.
